Strev wheeled his way thru, had some decent enough playing time, stayed long enough to get a pension and is back with the Blue bringin it again. Way back then most if not all would have pricked Rourke to make it over Streveler but the ball bounced the other way. Good on Strev, good on Rourke - he chased his dream, no issue with that. But the net effect of all the moves still to play out. He should not have been made to play tonight, come on three days practice after twoo years not playing.....now all the heat is just gonna get more intense, and yea VA gets the shaft a bit in the whole wash out, pro sports is a dog eat dog for sure
Bombers defence was pretty impressive and strong but at least the BC lions tried they need to stop losing more games , or otherwise they’ll end up at the bottom of the standings like the Elks ( Skimos ) Also Rourke is still rusty so he needs more time to get back to his rhythm
Yeah, people said the NFL didn't give him a chance. I saw a clip of the quarter he played in the Atlanta preseason and could clearly see him missed a wide open receiver by the end zone. I am not saying a QB can't miss someone but when you are playing for a job and you throw the ball to a guy that's covered instead of a wide open receiver end zone you can't blame the team for cutting you.

I noticed the receivers were usually pretty well covered. The bombers are last against the run. Standback did o.k.but not spectacular. Rourke needed to roll out and spread the D. B.C. should have had a game plan that would more exploit Winnipeg 's weakness. Bombers look to be dominate again. I still pick Calgary to be last in the west . No way B.C. plays for the cup if things don't change.
