I agree! I don’t have the beach house, yet, but it’s on my list. The our generation sets are so reasonably priced it’s possible to own several. I have the vet clinic, both food trucks and the school room. My first big purchase was the OG diner. I was babysitting my young grandson at that time, while his mom worked. He never played with action figures or dolls of any kind, but from the minute he saw that diner, he owned a restaurant! Eli’s Great Food. We fed every doll, stuffed animal and action figure in the house. We even fed them snacks after we got the ice cream truck. The Toco stand brought out a group of rogue stuffed animals (these were the pets for the OG dolls) these naughty animals were continually stealing all the food. For years we fed Scooby and Shaggy in my dark walk in closet., while they chased bad guys while having many adventures. We always had to set up the kitchen in the closet , he knew every piece that went with it right down to the plant. Before he was born, we only had girls in our family for over thirty years. I didn’t really know how to play with boys. We now have several boys from age six to age twelve. I am here to tell you, boys enjoy the OG sets just as much as girls, if they are playing with their grandmothers! I am 73 now, so my mobility and energy is limited but OG and AG sets enabled me to make many wonderful memories with my little boys. It was unexpected. I believe the whole experience helped my little fellow to develop his imagination.

I bought this and love it. Added different decorative items, like seashells, and nautical items. Made some extra pillows with seagulls on the fabric. Always find little items at my local thrift store to add to it. Living in Fla., it's perfect to have fun with.

So I bought one locally here and he Polacca on marketplace for 15 bucks the other day I’m gonna get it all gussied up for grandbabies birthday gift. I went with beach Barbie themes. I was wanted to get some kind of beach house, but I don’t like the Barbie houses. I just think they’re plastic and cheap looking and Very cheap moneywise but you can go on marketplace and find these everywhere. Mine was pretty much empty. I don’t know where all the parts and pieces went but maybe that’s why it was only $15 but there’s other ones out there and probably gonna pick up for $40 even comes with a dollar Because they’re everywhere and I don’t see how people can get rid of them. They are just the cutest thing you live near the beach, St Augustine thank you for this video. Wonderful ideas. I am however, going to figure out what to do with the back of it I don’t know if you decorated the back I’m thinking, some kind of foliage and of course I gotta get me a turtle cause sea turtles are big out of here in Florida at the beach

The play mode allows you to use each sound and they play and turn off on their own. Try me is usually for trying out in the store. Then you can switch it to off.😊

Our Generation is another brand of 18 inch dolls and accessories. I don’t think of them as a rival, but as an alternative. They are more affordable. I don’t care much for the dolls, they aren’t the quality of American Girl. I do like many of the accessories though. They are more affordable than AG and they offer many unique sets. Did you ever see the movie "Samantha: An American Girl Holiday"? I saw it yesterday evening; as a italian dubbing is not available (and neither the subtitles), I had to follow it in english - it was not so easy, but it was worth of it: it is a wonderful movie, really well made, and although I already knew the story of Samantha, it made me discover much more about this gallant and unselfish girl; at the end I almost cried, due the emotion. Now the choice becomes hard: who will be my next A.G. doll? To say it as Hamlet: "Samantha or Corinne? This is the problem!".

I don’t know if you have anything like this in Italy, but she bought it at a garage sale (it’s a sale of miscellaneous household items sold out of someone’s garage or front yard) people in the U.S. have them from time to time and they have them on a weekend. Anyway, she found Samantha and she is the one from Pleasant Company. She’s very old. She has a special place in my heart. I think that it’s so sweet how you watched her movie in English. I wish it had subtitles for you. I do understand how it’s very difficult to decide between dolls. They all have something special. I hope you’ll somehow be able to get both.😊💕
