@@67luis64 I think she’s cuter than Kavi, but that’s just my opinion. I didn’t care for Kavi, I think it was her face mold. I tend to gravitate to the Josefina face mold instead of the Marie-Grace mold. I think it’s so much better to have the clear windows on the boxes. If American Girl chooses to remove the window it’ll be a real disappointment. I always prefer to buy in the store when it’s possible, but sometimes it doesn’t work out. I’m sorry that you haven’t been able to do that yourself. Maybe one day you’ll get to hope over the pond and go shopping. Sounds like you are enjoying adding to your collection. Congratulations on your soon addition of Melody, she’s adorable! In the introduction of my video I had a fan on and it was in the recording, unfortunately I wasn’t able to remove it even though I edited it. I’m glad that it wasn’t distracting or obvious. @@agitssocute Maybe I didn't explain well, but I meant that your doll is better than Kavi; about Kavi, I read her book "It's showtime": I liked it very much and had much to learn about this gentle, educated and frendly girl and her world, but I admit that her doll (at least as seen by pictures and videos) is not bad, but neither one of the best A.G. productions. I instead like very much, as contemporary characters, Lila and even Summer (but without the glasses - they absolutely are not charming as the Molly's ones); but honestly I go on to prefer the historical characters for my collection: I believe that they have another charme. About the noise in your video, now understood that it was a fan sound: by my experience is very hard to remove from a recorded sound, but is not so noisy, don't worry. I am undecided if post a video about my new doll: I'd like to don't make it like last year, so I am searching for a idea to make something different. I'll see. Bye.

@ I agree with you about Kavi, she’s not bad, but not one of the best either. Lila is beautiful, I got her a few months ago. I really think Summer is very cute. I actually love her glasses. They’re very different from Molly’s but I think they add a lot of personality to Summer. Everyone has their own thoughts, you’re not a fan, but I am…😃 I appreciate you sharing your thoughts. @ you are so right, AG is expensive! Sometimes you can find a good deal on Facebook marketplace, but it’s definitely hit or miss. Through the years I’ve asked for AG things for my birthday or Christmas. I hope you get to begin building up your collection. ❤️ It takes time. 🙂

@@freshrain7694 thank you ☺️ I’m so glad you enjoyed the video! The lights that I have on the ceiling in some of the rooms are puck lights. You can get them at Home Depot, Lowe’s or Amazon. The ones I have are battery operated and while they do work they drain the batteries even when not in use. They require 3 AA batteries per light so it can be costly. @@agitssocute Thank you so much! I had been debating getting one custom built. Also noticed some people use the Ikea shelving. We started with the OG dollhouse however now with it built, it doesn't fit all the AG furniture! Is there a preferable width and height you found you liked more (looks like you have varying widths.

@@cristinaazzaro2744 the dollhouse is a little over 10’ long and 6’5” tall at the top of the 3rd floor. It’s about 4’3” tall at the top of the 2nd floor. Each room is a little different in size. The width is measured from inside wall to inside wall. Here are the measurements for each room 3’ 21 1/2 “ 19” 41” 10 1/2” 31” 53” 40” 22 1/2” Each room is 24” high and 24” deep. The reason for the variation in width is my daughter wanted different sizes 😊 We just kinda went with it. I haven’t ever used any IKEA shelves, but know that a lot of people do. If you have the room and it works for your budget I would suggest a custom dollhouse. I find that 24” deep and 24” high is the minimum for me. I hope this information is helpful. I apologize for taking so long in responding…things have been very chaotic at my house lately. Best wishes for your dollhouse venture 😃 Please let me know how it goes.

I’m so glad that I had the footage too! My husband and I went so that I could exchange my Isabel (I had ordered both of the twins and her wig was a bit off). I hurriedly did a walkthrough of the store. I wasn’t super happy with the footage so it’s just been on my phone. I remembered it and decided to edit it to see if it was salvageable. Editing the footage was a little different knowing the store was no longer there, it made me appreciate it more. I’m so glad I hadn’t deleted it!😅

I say that because if you Google their stores you often see pictures of the stores and it shows the old and new. The stores I Googled looked as though they had been downsized. I had one viewer say that she likes to visit the store in NYC, but that it had gone from three stories down to two and that the magic that was once palpable in the old store was missing from the new store. 🥺 AG has been losing money, from 2016 to 2023 their revenue has dropped 61% while during that same time global dollar revenue had grown by 23%. (Info from Google) Things are changing. I hope you have a wonderful day 💕

As for how AG is doing I don’t know much except that Mattel’s sales were down 1% for the first quarter of 2024, but I think overall sales are better for them than the same time last year. Sounds like you’re having some interesting weather. It’s full spring weather here with storms, but it’s a blessing to have the rain. The AG X box sounds nice! @@agitssocute I planned to purchase her next autumn, together with others 2-3 dolls for my friends, as I had other expenses during this period. I found two Sonali dolls for sale (used) on ebay, but each of them cost almost 600$: well then, suits me more order a customized one from A.G.; it is possible mold one identical to her which, new, costs less than half. In one way or another, she has to be my self present for next Christmas; I am not in hurry 👍. P.S.: I recently ended to read the Nanea's book; I found it really interesting and moving: it tells very well how the war could be bad and scaring, overall for quiet and innocent teenagers as her. Now I am reading the Corinne's book, which looks passioning too. I like very much this stories; probably I will purchase other their books next time.

The pendant around the neck of Molly is a present found in the Easter egg; I don’t know by you, but in Italy there is the tradition that for Easter we buy a chocolate egg, inside of which there is a surprise; Inside my egg there was this pendant, perfect for the doll.

It’s located off of North Central Expressway (75) The new store is light and bright, but I miss the size and location of the Galleria store. It doesn’t have the wow factor in my opinion. This store is more difficult to get to, which may mean that I won’t go as often. I’m glad we still have a store in the metroplex I just miss the old one. I hope you get to check it out soon and I hope you love it 😊 I would love to hear what you think of it. 💕
