Egypt is not the squarest country. It will be square if Israel controlled the area of Suez (Which basically happened in the 1970's). It is because that little part which allows Egypt to be transcontinental is sticking out from it's squarish borders. In my opinion, it should be Côte d'Ivoire that is the squarest because it doesn't have any islands and to me looks like a perfect square. If you'd like, try to go with my point.
