These reels are junk i took the cover off and to do basic cleaning and now the spool release will not work you push it down and it will not come up with turn of the handle tried everything will have to take it back they haven't made a good bait caster in years I have used one for over 30 years going to take this on back and maybe this new van Ford spinning reel made be it will be of some count cause this thing is junk
hello how are you thanks for commenting !! from what you tell me, I am sure the unlocking button is activated since this makes it not work correctly when arming it! they are good fishing reels of very good quality !! Cheers
the truth is that it is unfortunate I am very sorry that it did not give you a good result! they are good reels for fishing maybe you should keep it as a souvenir
I know this is old but you put it back together with the button down, you have to hold the button up when putting it back together. I don't know about junk this reel is worth every penny of the $3.00 I spent on it at a garage sale back in the 90's.

Si con con WD40 se limpia muy bien remueve la suciedad y el aceite de forma correcta!! Saludos amigo buena pesca!!
