Dirtworx Bumper Install - Fabricating Wings - Prelude to the Rubicon!

Mac and Jessica are planning on joining friends from WranglerTJForum.com on the historic Rubicon Trail in California.
But first we need to finish fixing some bumper damage that happened last year...and that makes this the final chapter of Operation Phoenix...removing the damaged Warn bumper and replacing it with a brand new bumper from Dirtworxs.
We start off painting and installing the bumper...and then Mac realizes the entire corner of the Jeep tub is left exposed to damage...so with Jessica's help we do a little CAD...cardboard aided design...and Mac cuts out 3/16" - .185 thick steel to make "wings" for the bumper that wrap back towards the rear tire to protect the corner.
Join us for some painting and lot of fabrication as we prep this Jeep Wrangler TJ for some of the hardest rock crawling we've done.
