- Malaysia 🇲🇾 drive 🚗 to Thailand, 2023 immigration guides
🚗Things to prepare:
✅ passport
✅ Geran (original)
- Authorization letter + copy of the owner's IC (if not the car owner)
- Need to take it to the police station for verification (if you are not the owner of the car)
✅ Car inbound and outbound form (TM2, TM3)
✅ Immigration card (TM6 white card)
✅ Car insurance
➡️TM2, TM3, TM6 can all be filled in in Changlun District, one copy is RM2
➡️ Car insurance is also purchased in Changlun District (RM20 for 8 days for a car with less than 7 people, RM25 for 18 days)
➡️We done here, the price is quite reasonable:

Malaysian Customs:
🚗 no need to get off the car, just prepare your passport for stamping
Thailand Customs:
💁♀️Passengers need to get off the car and line up inside to go through customs (prepare passport + immigration card)
🚗 The driver drives through customs (prepare passport + immigration card + TM2, TM3 + some cash)
🚗 After the driver passes the customs, he needs to stop and queue at the 【custom declaration】
🚗 The official will give 2 custom declaration forms, after signing, one will be taken back, and the other will be kept by the driver
⚠️⚠️⚠️The custom declaration form must be kept and returned when leaving the country

Thailand 🇹🇭 SIM card:
✅ There are shops along the road near the Thai border, RM20 for 7 days

⚠️Malaysian driver's license can be used, no need to apply for an international driver's license
⚠️Petrol is very expensive in Thailand, it is recommended to fill up the gas before going through customs

去年我去的时候不需要polis station chop 只要准备好的信 还有ic 车卡ori 其他的tm2 和tm3 都是买insuren 都帮我们填完 及时你自己填完tm2和3 他们没有理 也是会帮你们填过 还是需要付费🤭🤭

其实如果是两个人的话可以不必下车，直接驾去车的 counter 就可以了

May I know how long we can drive Malaysia car at Thailand ? I noticed there are insurance valid for 1 year, does it mean Malaysia car can drive in Thailand for one year ? For your entire duration in Thailand, you just need to pay 30 baht ?
Malaysian travelers can visit Thailand without a visa through the Visa Exemption Program. They can stay for a maximum of 30 days as a tourist and can extend their permit to stay for a further 30 days at any local immigration office.

Hi, 请问authorize letter是在自己住家附近的警察局盖章，还是在Bukit Kayu Hitam警察局盖章？因为有听人说他们的警察局叫他们去Bukit Kayu Hitam做盖章，他们那里没有做。

authroize letter样本网上有固定的template哦。然后form是你申请车险的时候就会给你了

马来西亚也很不错的～～其实资源很好，只是在旅游推广方面做得太少了！ 我们的海水，沙巴神山，食物都是很不错的😁因为你来马来西亚，就可以吃到3大种族的食物（马来人，华人，印度人）还是很值得来的👍👍👍
