Enjoyed the flow of things being along the lines of "The Tau shoot at something - it disappears" and "The Orks charge something - it disappears" though the Morkanaut vapourising those suits was enjoyable.
That was a great battle. I honestly thought Tau were going to run away with it but there were plenty of twists and turns with a close final result. Looked like you guys had great fun too! Always a joy when you get such a close fought match. Felt like a nice fluffy game too! Keep doing what it is you do! :D
Big table lengthways is a massive bonus for Tau 😅 fun battle report, brutal shooting, love it as always thanks At one point when boyz were being lit up 42mins in you could have 1cp surge into combat with the devilfish after the riptide shot 😁💪
am i daft or is he not taking 5++ saves on boyz outside of the waaagh? Greentide Boyz always have a 5++ and i also never noticed any reroll saves of 1 for boyz of 10+ either.
What a great batrep, 2 very different armies, but played out great! Did make me laugh when after specifically taking green tide for the 5++ it was forgotten after the wargh, but I guess after playing standard orks for some long thats an easy mistake. I really thought it would swing hard one way at one point, so was pleased to see the swing back!
i havn't played 10th yet. did they get rid of the rule that u have to declare all shooters at once at the start of the shooting phase? how could in tau round two the meganobs get targeted after they came out of the destroyed gorkonaugt?
in 10th you don't declare everything at the start but one unit at a time (though for each unit you do declare each weapon before you shoot any of them)

The Red one is the Morkanuat and the Yellow one is the Gorkanuat.
Can you CP re-roll those d'jump 1s?
There's actually a list of what you can reroll on the reroll strat card, regrettably don't think re-rolling d'jump is amongst them :(
