- Nothing’s ever straightforward, is it? We’re deep into this ‘69 GTO build when we find out-surprise!-the trunk floor is actually from a ‘68. So now it’s a game of cut, tweak, and make-it-fit. Blair’s on tail light and trunk alignment duty, while I tackle tie rod alignment and slap on some fresh ball joints up front. Oh, and fun fact-this car hasn’t had tires on in 43 years! Let’s see if we can get everything sitting right.

I'll tell ya what...that Blair is the METAL MASTER.
Hey Mike I know you’re probably going to tell me to go pound salt!.But I heard you say you might keep the GTO.But I think a cool idea that since you always say those who have should give. A great idea would be,since Blair is the big Pontiac guy, I imagine you pay him well. But he bust his ass getting all these cars done for you and saves you thousands with pieces he hand makes or repairs for a lot of of the cars. He’s amazing by the way I think a great idea would be to surprise gift the GTO to Blair when he’s done with it in appreciation of all the hard work he’s done for you already and still has to do before the auction. Just an idea that came to that came to me. What a great way to show him your appreciation for everything he’s done. Just an idea!!
HEY GUYS READ MY POST AND GIVE IT SOME THOUGHT IF YOU LIKE IT LETS PUT THE PRESSURE ON AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS!!!
Mike you missed your true calling in life! You should sing thru all your videos 🤣🤣🤣
I recognized this GTO from the first episode. A friend of mine owned it in the early eighties. I remember the night we saw it downtown right after he got it painted. Good times! I have a back story on the straight axle impala as well. It's been like a trip down memory lane . We had quite the hot rod scene in Terrace back in the day. Lots of rivalries between us ,Prince Rupert and Kitimat. Keep up the great work Blair.
Do you have any photos?
Blair the master doing another great job
Great job on tail repair Blair 😊😊😊😊😊
I’ve only recently realized that a car is never completely unusable, you guys crush it!! 🇨🇦
❄️
🌱
Nice progress guys. A friend had a nice 69 GTO in 1972, 400 eng/trans and 4.56 posi, unfortunately while stopped it got hit from behind by a 1968 Mustang at 50 mph that shoved the trunk up to the rear seat........the running gear went into a 50 Chevy coupe.
Blair is a GOD !! what kind of GOD, I just don't know!!!!! ❤❤
Hey Mike, This is an Awesome Day now that i got to see You Working on the GTO. I Love Your Show. Hey Blair is there. Woo Hoo Ya. Have a Great Night. God Bless You All and All Your Families!!!

Excellent work Blair
So Mike works from the front back. Blair works from the back forwards. When you two meet in the middle you're done. So about that "the truck I wrecked on the weekend"?
So for Mike's retirement job, lounge singer.
Dirty working on rust mikes in his happy place

😮the master
thank god I can hear now uve sorted the mic out we have volume
YEAH YEAH 👍🇨🇦🇺🇸
that car has a whale lot more to it than initially appeared, for all intents considering options and colors that should be a badd ass car, SB 400/muncy or BorgW, 69 GTO was for all intents the most modern of the 679 muscle, didn't they have like a 5 or 10 mph shock absorbing bumper? the "endura" a guy could easily install air bags to that..maybe they just appeared to have one? they came right soon after that no jokes, goofy as they are... my 96 scort car has lil' absorbers for the air bags, the idea is the airbags won't deploy until a certain impact, hopefully that's before the engine is in your lap or a car in a t bone... I bich a lot about the cost of the new truck however the impact and safety is phenomenal compared to old school, hopefully if it's ever required...
I do remember the 50's cars tho, my first was the 55 dodge custom lancer hemi then a 55 chrysler new yorker deluxe hemi, we was rollin hard down a wide gravel irrigation ditch can O rainier in hand and someone yelled take the hard right, so i do of course basically a U turn over a bridge, a lil wide she had some birth and clipped a pole left front quarter, took out like a 20" pole, pinned it and kept going, it crumpled the bumper a hair and buckled the front fenner some, din't even knock out the headlamp . .not even into the wheel not even close, I rolled like that for a while, tell ya what unless you were in a big 50 car you didn't wanna get hit by that chrysler, soaking wet full tank she weighed almost 6000 lbs, all electric everything, power everything, 4 dr, miss that car so much, they don't ride like that anymore . .
No pickle fork to release the centre link from the pitman arm and inner tie rods and idler arm.
Oh no Mike, did you wreck your diesel Ford picking up Cassidy's motor
I thought I heard that. I wrecked a truck on the weekend.
@@Dr.Claw_M.A.D. you did hear it, I had to rewatch that part a second time to make sure I heard correctly the first-time
Mike luv your show watch daily ...sorry for all the B.S. that's going on with my country right now..A LOT of us HATE the 🍊💩 and WANT HIM GONE!!! ❤️ Canada. Our neighbors to the north....anyway. Luv the show....keep up the great work
More people that like him tho
@DerekJensen-m3q NO!! The ONLY reason he s in the office now is the GQP used voter suppression and they threw out over a MILLION VOTES!!! the GQP. Cheated and LIES
Quick tip more of a production issue. Be careful of copyrighted music playing in the background. Record companies have bots scouring the web for unauthorized clips or bite of song.
One TH-cam creator got a strike for playing ten seconds of a copyrighted song on his piano. Yes they are that petty
Love the channels. I suppose if Blair's dad gets his own Garage and Mike closes this one then his will be the fifth channel.
Wondering if Lordco is considered a top end auto parts dealer..Like here in the States i would guess Napa is our higher end auto parts dealer then you have Autozone and Oreillys bringing up the rear..
Well My opinion would be to keep the car because it's a very rare car so I'd do extra to it and put more time in to it. I have a question have you ever heard or used Ace of Shades paint products I have heard it's a great paint and it's made to help to get great job for the diy and the professional people
why woukd you not use an impact driver instead of a ratchet im ean come on mike
Please buy some mics! Between bleeping out Mike and Blair mumbling it is awful to keep up with them! Call Bad Chad and find out what brand he uses.
