I love the addition of the NVG sniper to this game mode. They’re what the Wolves from GR: Breakpoint should’ve been. Terrifying enemy spec ops that completely reverse the balance of power and ruin your plans. You’re forced to adapt and improvise to overcome them.
You know how this occured, you're amazing at making the military jargon digestible. You've got just the right amount of chill vs energy. You drop random fun facts with an enthusiasm that makes them sound like the most dope thing ever (Like the fletchette missiles you mentioned in one of your S.O.G videos). You're nice to your squad and can joke around while also not taking shit from others. And you make it clear how these missions make things tense and exciting. It's a killer package
I wish we'd have just ONE percent of his planning and communication skills in my airsoft team. We'd go through every team I've encountered in my airsoft "career" like a hot knife through butter. (I'm german, and a civilian, though. Playing in the US would be another story I guess...)
Well, we started our first game with one life only, no respawn and perma-death back in 2007-2008 in Arma 1. At first we played 5 vs 5. Later moved to Arma 2, these games became popular, we played 10 vs 10, then 20 vs 20, later 50 vs 50 and even 100 vs 100. That was an experience! Today in Arma 3, such servers are still active.
@@Fit-4-life- There are public ones, you just need to search for them, such as the KillKOG events from Karma, but more balanced options are OFCRA or FNF.
Are these kinda servers plentiful enough to warrant buying arma for?? dont have Arma but this looks fucking insane- dont wanna buy the game to find these kinda servers dont exist anymore, any info appreciated!
These one-life raids are insanely intense. The firefight in the compound with the 2 ghillies, hearing *Anton's down* gave me chills. Would love more of thse
I'd like to see a version of this where both teams have no respawns, but the defending team starts out with a lot more players. Something like 100 or 200 vs 4. But, every time the spec ops team sneakily kills someone, they permanently even the numbers a little bit and that person can't tell the others what happened until the match is over.
Though this'd be awesome, you'd be hard-pressed to find an ArmA 3 server that could handle that. Sad as it is, this isn't the most stable milsim in the world, and the network code is notoriously bad, despite it being able to support so many players at once. I'm really, really hopeful ArmA 4 changes that, though. We have a shot at having ArmA 3, but on a more stable foundation and much better networking capabilities. So cross your fingers and hope Bohemia pulls through!
@@bugworrall would still be doable, just not with the full enemy force at once. just give each enemy player only 2-3 lives, even if nigh impossible, it at least feels like your thinning the numbers as spec ops, might be a little extra motivation instead of "well we are basically done for, they are going to infinitely respawn and come back anyway"
