Your policy envelopes are so pretty. I did learn how to make them last year and my goodness it was so much fun I made 80 at Christmas time. I was able to put a goodie in each one for the residents at the assisted living community my sis lives in. Scarves, socks, winter gloves, hats for men and women and some fun silly Christmas ties and socks for the fellas too. I tied a ribbon around them and put a little tag for a lady or a gentleman. I absolutely love that you can use a whole sheet of paper. I hope to make more this year and would love some simple ideas as to what might be a nice little gift and fit in them. ❤️

Have you tried making a die cut area with acetate window in your policy envelopes? And then turn that part into a shaker they turn out really cute.the name and address can still be seen by not using too much shaker material. But if it's not being mailed it is even more fun.

Hi, Deanna…many, many moons ago (when I was more than a sprite!), an insurance agent would present the original “policy” of insurance a consumer had purchased in the style of envelope that today we call the “policy envelope.” A person’s Last Will and Testament was also presented in similar type envelopes. I’m hoping ur make another video showing the size that does well in ur craft fair & maybe some other sizes to put in some TNs😘. I love both of ur envelopes but the pink & black is my fave as they’re my fave colors. I also totally love ur postage stamp labels, so cute, creative & different, I must look in design space to see if I have those images💕🥰. What a great way to receive happy mail🥰. I don't do videos but I support a lot of utubers like yourself and Sheila etc. I am a beginner crafter so I have a lot to learn. I want to learn how to make different size envelopes. Oops...it was too long...basically, they are used for business to send legal documents and they close on the end. They can be different sizes but are "longer than coin envelopes". MOST important...it cost more to mail if you address it tall side up because it has to be hand sorted and the machine only reads "landscape". (same is true with square) Thanks for the video. Always helpful!!
