I used to be pretty good at scoring free kicks been playing fifa for years and I just can’t score a free kick in fifa 20. No matter how many times I try the ball is always kicked like a lobbed pass with no power and the keeper saves it every time. Tried all the types of free kick but everyone is the same like a lobbed pass with no power.
If you want more power to your shoot you have to press and hold the right stick down longer before you make the top spin or curve ball or something else.
No matter what, I cannot score. I could place a curling shot in the VERY top corner. Literally inches from touching the post and crossbar, but the goal keeper will just catch it like it's nothing.
Im sorry, but this is ridiculous. Is this a video game or a fucking term paper on building rockets that can go to mars? To play a free kick, I have to fight to get a fucking circle to stay in one position, hold the shoot button and make sure the bar fills up to a certain point, and flick the right stick in a variety of odd directions to get spins ... just for a FUCKING free kick? I think EA has lost the plot, honestly. In an effort to add something new to Fifa 20, they've decided to introduce nonsense. Who has time for this? Still giving the video a like though, cos I think you've got a lot of balls learning this stuff. You deserve all the praise, man
What about holding down L1? I might be wrong but I randomly did it to pay homage to the insanely op L1 free kick in Fifa 19 and it makes you shot more powerful and incapable of dip. I did it multiple times to see if it was a fluke but it was still happening.

Me too,I can shoot well in Fifa 20 but I prefer the old type. The old type gives more real feeling, just like a free kick in real life
