As a current GameStop employee... This man was straight spittin facts...
🔥❤️ Thank you!
Congrats to your 250 subs and your first live stream🎉🎉
Thank you so much 😁
Man its true parents just walk in sell their kids games for whatever reason, maybe as punishment, or buy their kids games, all without knowing their actual worth
I love how people are mad at what GameStop offers for used anything. If you bought a game for $60 and a week later expected to go the same store to get close to $60 for that same game when they have a wall full of them, you are the problem. It’s supply and demand 101 and a lot of gamers need that class. Take the same item to a pawn shop or try to sell it after leaving GameStop so you can be educated some more.
That's Very true! And I do agree. I'm not against buying low, but there is something to be said for offering an unfair price or a lowball price. And in all fairness to GameStop, their model does work because of the convenience and quick cash. But also, it's partly the person selling the item that should be more diligent in what they are selling away.
Thanks for the comment! I appreciate your insight!
All this for fuckin paper with art on it. These are simply made to be played with the whole market is just people taking advantage of others sentimentality hence why there's such an uproar of counterfeits. One evil for another
It’s not mind boggling. Any reseller is going to offer you way less for your used items.
That’s understood. I’m a reseller, but… GameStop does this at an unaffordable extreme.
TH-cam recommended your channel, as another small Poketuber I am here to help!
I am really upset about this GameStop news, I was going to cover it in a video but it absolutely disgusts me. As someone who has been playing competitive TCGs his entire life (mostly with Magic, more recently Pokemon), it's gross GameStop is trying to kill Local Game Stores to cover up their failed business model.
Yeah!
It’s going to ruin a lot of small businesses.
We should connect. Find me on IG card_father_tcg
Gamestop is going to give you terrible trade value for your cards, and they will absolutely sell singles for far more than they're actually worth. And kids and their parents are going to be tricked. It sucks, but that's what's going to happen.
Exactly!
Congrats on the new subs!
Thanks for the sub!
I have mixed feelings about it as we are in the process of opening a B&M in my town. But I just might run ads saying we pay more than Gamestop.
I totally agree. My dream is to open a B&M and it’s a little concerning how big business punishes small ones.
Rooting for you!! Drop me a message and I’d love to shout you out on a video or come visit when you’re open!!
I don't think it'll be hard to beat Gamestop on singles prices. They're going to charge way too much.
@@BT-su1yf their prices arent what people are concerned about its the trade in value and what exactly they use to determine that. If it's anything like video games its gonna be insanely low comparatively. While most card shops pay from 40 up to 80% of market value, gamestop will be at 20-25 guaranteed.
13:23. Best of luck achieving your dream! This is my dream as well !
Just came across your channel, great video, earned a sub.
Thank you so much!!!
I’ll be doing a live stream to be announced soon with a pack opening and a giveaway! So stay tuned!
so GameStop is mainly wanting to focus on graded cards *Pokémon/MTG/Yu-Gi-Oh* (for no cash only store credit and other cards) there values are gonna be like 20% under the price this might change, and there expected numbers for there employees and hoping to get 1 in every week but i don't see that happening no singles (possibly) but still keep the packs, booster boxes and other.
They have been clearly advertising that they are going to be taking in raw singles in the future. Starting in June, they will roll out the graded card trade-in purchase plan. Dr. Applesauce (will) just did a video showing the training manual and expected guidelines.
Nice video
Thank you!!
Hey, guess what? Subscriber number 250 here. Nice video, keep up the good work!
