Awesome project! A suggestion for one of the other panels: white glass/acrylic with a whiteboard marker. A small whiteboard for quick notes right above your keyboard is extremely underrated.
dang I never thought of that, I had one of those mini whiteboards for infront of your keyboard in my shopping cart for so long then eventually never bought it as I use my Supernote (the eink tablet) for a ToDo, and keep it at my side all the time. I think once you see next weeks video you'll see I plan on a lot of task planning integration haha
Man, this series is excellent. I love complex and ingenious desk setups, but this is another level. Also love your edit style! Reminds me of Joe Grand.
Okay him plugging everything in at 7:54 being so tactile and all was so satisfying, also is the fifine mic actually good for USB or do you need a amp to make it sound like that?
When you’re trying to model an existing object in CAD take a picture and scale it in CAD. E.G. know the diameter of the circle here and scale so that everything else is in perspective. This makes finding all the right measurements much easier.
If it’s small enough to fit and makes sense to, use a flat bed scanner and it’ll be much easier. When scanning add a small ruler and you can be very precise with your scale! It should work even if you can’t close the lid too :)
Nice. Now an HUD/dashboard screen built in. Also i noticed some cardboard between the aluminium and the drawers on your desk. Just wondering what thats for? EDIT: Nevermind I realised it's coreflute
If the mic cable you made for the desk is purely a jumper between connectors why not use a more low-profile right angle connector? It would be much cleaner and use less space and cable length
I have seen them, and was really tempted to go with the right angles, but really wanted to try the arched loop. Thankfully the mic arm doesn't hit the cables where I use it so might be all good 🤙
Not that I've noticed. oddly I've found one of my keyboards with RGB on when plugged into a USB hub causes a strange low hum on my speakers but not when it's plugged directly into my laptop. So far, the audio interface doesn't appear to pickup anything different than before.
gee just had a look, seems like the direct fifine listing for australia may be different now so I've added a new link to the description which has it at $117.99 AUD I have found it cheaper on eBay when combined with a promo code, so worth checking there too!
Amazon has a problem of "surge" pricing where if the item is in low stock the supplier can allow amazon to adjust the pricing, the item went up by $10 overnight so... cheers to capitalism? I'm just looking for a USB and XLR microphone for when I have a XLR setup, but USB for the time being due to it being plug and play
This guy is more creative than I could ever be.
For most electronic components, including neutrik's jacks - they publish the datasheet with every dimension you could need :)
was about to comment this lol
sometimes you just have to let people do it the hard way. even the colors of the wires dont matter as long as they match on the other end
@@masterbond9 sometimes yeah, but when the info is readily available it's an excercise in time wasting 😁
Please post a full/360 degree view of the room which holds the workbench at 1:19 . The workbench is a work of art.
Awesome project!

This is serious my dream setup: buttons and dials everywhere and everything is perfectly thought out. Thank you for your videos!
Fusion 360 has a free version. Though it has some limitations, but it has what is needed for basic modelling.
I love that you care about the details of the cable and connector great job !!

That desk is sick! Love to see people evolve 📈
2:31 Ravel string quartet pizzicati just amazed me!! great job, btw
This desk setup looks way too cool, damn!
Mad respect!
The color combo is brilliant. Everything is white, black and acrylic with a little touch of orange and blue.
They match perfectly.
So cool - this series is the best thing I’ve seen all year
Your videos are so good. i love how much effort you are putting into this setup and the attention to detail
Definetly earned a sub, the quality of the cutting and video is great. Keep it going
Cheers

not sure about that exact one but fifine mics are pretty decent even when using usb especially considering the price
it sounds better on xlr thats for sure, but noones complained when i used it with usb (ive had it for almost a year now no problems)
you are amazing! need more contents from you!
this dude is so underrated he needs a shout out man great video
bro i already love that desk. also your paper writing thingy is satisfying af😂
Very good video, one question. What tablet do you use to take notes?
Massively underrated channel
Cool~ Looks perfect! 🥰❤🔥👍

that's pretty cool... Did you notice any audio interference after the soldering job to the interface?
awesome bro, stay doing this project, its so impressive
This desk setup looks way too cool, damn!
Tinkercad is awesome. Super simple and really powerful.
Far out, such great content dude!
Good job, nice addition 👌
i love the "patch bay" design, its really interesting
yay another video of my now favorite youtuber build
Nice. Now an HUD/dashboard screen built in. Also i noticed some cardboard between the aluminium and the drawers on your desk. Just wondering what thats for? EDIT: Nevermind I realised it's coreflute
HOLY, love your creative problem solving. Gets me geeked.
that is such a sick set up!
Just found yoru channel on a whim. THANK YOU algorithm. Love these vids keep it up!
Stoked you found my channel 🤙
new sub, cool stuff, thinking out the box. definitely a relief from the usual alex drawers and butcher block
Dam that trick with the aux cable comes at the right time working on a audio project myself right now
I would love to have this desk that you're making in my room, I just need a real life copy paste tool.

Dude this is sick
Awesome desk. Earned a sub. I want to see the evolution of this epic desk.
Amazing work mate! May I ask what's the device you use to sketch and take your notes?
wow, crazy work
This is awesome man, keep it up!
you need a good gooseneck mic, since you have the xlr socket so perfectly placed for one
whoa never thought of that, it is giving me university lectern vibes now haha
hyped to see your next posts, cool stuff
Is that a Pinecil you're soldering with?
love your videos dude
Measuring is always g9od, but you can look at spec sheets for most of these parts which should save some time.
I was really enjoying this build untill you showed us under the desk! What is up with the signage poster board?
Bro is actually so underrated
what soldering iron thingy do you use?
Neutrik has alle the Technical Sketches on there Website.
wish I could make that cool of a setup
are you planning to leave the audio panels unshielded?
i have the same keyboard, leobog hi75, great keyboard for its price!
there are diagrams for the xlr connectors, no need to measure everything, but nice job as always
What is that notebook, I want one, I need one.
Very cool!
I think the brand names are pronounced canary and noy-tricks.
I love the buttons and knobs and such, so done with everything going touchscreen these days. Society needs more levers.
so good
any issues with EMI/RFI?

Just for curiosity why the orange color(I like it btw)
Dude this is coming together so nicely. It's basically the world's biggest, and most useful cyberdeck. Keep on hacking mate. Cheers.
what is the wallpaper?
What are the mic arm brand?
It's also FIFINE, should be able to find a link in the description 👍
Fusion 360 is free if for personal use only
I have a fifine audio interface
will you be intigrating a elgato stream deck?
Is that a remarkable device. Do a video if it is worthy or not.
mic jacked up to 200aud
gee just had a look, seems like the direct fifine listing for australia may be different now so I've added a new link to the description which has it at $117.99 AUD

Please make the videos a bit longer. You could easyly make a 14 min video
me when bluetooth
Fusion 360 is a lot better 3D modeling software and you can get it for free!
Unfortunately the free license doesn't cover commercial use, so if I ever want to sell the 3D models in the future that'd be a problem.
Your‘re making me angry by saying „nutrik“ and not „neutrik“
Dude! This is so so good. Can’t wait for the next🎉
