    I've seen an evolution in his game. In high school he was a bit of a street baller, no fundamentals (but I still liked him). Now I see a difference in his game that makes me like him even more. I think his off the court troubles are hopefully done. Now the NBA, I believe he has a future. Look at Will Bynum, and Nate Robinson. I think he's better than Bynum and can be better than Nate. I can't wait to see what happens with his future.

    He still seems raw, he isn't going to be in the NBA if he keeps up his "always go for the flashy" type of plays, which results in a higher turnover rate...He really, really should have gone to college, he got offered 28 SCHOLARSHIPS from different colleges, and he decided to skip the extra fundamentals, training, conditioning, and basketball IQ to play overseas.

  • @MultiCantstopme
    @MultiCantstopme 10 ปีที่แล้ว +14

    He kinda reminds me of Chris Paul the way he can move his way through the defense and score at his leisure. I think he nba ready, I'd give two years to feel it out and then he'll be a starter.

    • @JohnPatt
      @JohnPatt 10 ปีที่แล้ว +33

      I see no reason why he can't transition around a couple of teams on a few 10-day contract signings. feel his way around the league and see if any team will sign a more legit contract with him, let him come off the bench for a burst of energy and agility. I hope the best for him.

    • @cheezedudle
      @cheezedudle 10 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Oh wait i misread the comment. I thought he said he can't hang in the NBA because of his height

    • @10CapitanoTotti
      @10CapitanoTotti 10 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      And let's imagine Allen Iverson as a 6'6'' guard like MJ & Kobe are ... I can say that he would be maybe better than both those guys, because he was unstoppable even being 6'0'' (though many say he was more 5'11'' or even 5'10''). To me, he is #3 SG of all-time as a player (not championship wise, but he was best player in the league for many years and Kobe or nobody else was no-where near him) after MJ & Kobe and before D-Wade & Jerry West (or somebody else).

    • @KingWayne714
      @KingWayne714 10 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      i agree that skill comes with alot of "what ifs" but realistically i wanna see whos gonna guard being that he's 5'6". he problably cudnt guard even nate robinson. who is 5'8"

    • @mikechrisman1306
      @mikechrisman1306 10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      look... i agree in a sense with what you're saying. But quickness and agility are not affected until you reach a specific height which is over 7'... it's actually been proven. that 5'6" athlete would still be just as shifty at 6'5".
      Smaller athletes just tend to focus more on quickness and agility to make up for the height disparity. but 5'6" it probably won't matter at all how quick or shifty he is... in the NBA all the guards are quick and shifty... even lathargic steve nash lol... AKA my favorite player when he could actually ball..

  • @blkpoppi

    They released him because he doesn't pass more. He's scorer no doubt about it but at his size he needs to pass more..If he's not going to do that then he probably won't play in the NBA. He'll get a look in a camp and play summer league ball but I'd be surprised if he gets drafted.. Unless he goes late in the 2nd round, I expect him to be a free agent.

    Aquille averaged 10 points a game in 17 minutes of pt scoring isn't an issue with him. The reason NBA scouts are weary is because he'd be giving up such a disadvantage defensively in the league...if he did make it to the league he'd only be used as a spark plug off the bench in limited times

    One reason why he isn't drafted is because everyone is seeing him playing PG because it is his position and because of his height. He honestly looks more like a scoring athletic SG to me but no way people are gonna put a 5'6" SG on the floor.

    Aquille Carr is good but some of these commentators should remain in the d league

    Miami could have definitely used him... Mario and Norris have been absent throughout the playoffs at that 1 spot.. smh.. I think Carr would have at least made SOME plays because he has that same type of it factor that Nate Robinson has. .. I hope Carr gets a chance from someone though cuz dude is special..

    NBA is a whole other level. I don't think scoring should be his priority. He should rather focus on slashing inside the paint and dishing passes

    earl b was and nate is taller and can bench 400 so they're strong enough not to get pushed around too much and fight through screens carr is offensively gifted but you would be playing 4 against five on d he just doesnt have the strength to play with nba starters yet he would get destroyed on pick and rolls which is 90% of nba plays now he went undrafted but wouldn't be surprised to see him get a ten day contract or two after playing overseas a couple years and gaining exp and strength
