I love a good detailing series. These have come a long way from the blue GT3 and angry Matty doing the GT350. These are by far my favorite videos you've ever made.
Matt the commentary filled with sarcasm & jokes had me laughing so much. Great first episode & really looking forward to watching future ones. On other note - I wonder how many exhaust setups the F10 is gonna get fitted to it before you find one that your happy with.
Hello from The Space Coast over here in Melbourne......The Camera operator is a definite plus. Also, we have a his and hers (F80 for me, F30 335i for her) and I actually have my wife watching this to take our detailing hobby to the next level!
With a corvette you'd need white new balances, calf-high white socks, and denim shorts. You and Michelle would also need matching corvette leather-sleeved jackets. You'd have to film a "Day In The Life" video at Perkins or Denny's with your corvette friends. Yeah, Dinan stroker is definitely the way to go.
Matt, IND will paint those chrome strips in your door handles body color if you take them off and send them to them. I was talking with Ryan about doing it on mine. They used to have a core program, but they don't anymore. Either way, it's still worth a couple days of down time.

Always get excited when it’s decon time. I think since you aren’t a huge fan of the colour it might be a the perfect opportunity to give the Optimum Sprayable PPF with the colour changing a go. PPF without the edges sounds like exactly what you’d want, especially on a car which will be used a bit more like the M5

I just got a Miata last month and ordered a special collegiate plate which I had to wait 2 weeks for. Drove the car 2 weeks with no plate and never had a cop give it a second look. I was sort of amazed actually.
The actual cameraman movement was so nice to have! It was a total change from what we’re used to with static shots for these longer videos. Can’t wait to see the progress on this M5!

The gas cap rope... In Oregon we arent allowed to pump our own gas and it drives me crazy!!! Watched an old man the other day hold my cap for about 5 seconds and I could tell he wasnt sure what to do with it before just dropping it as I watched it bounce off my quarter panel... This was before he grabbed the windshield washer and proceeded to start scrubbing on my windshield while Im yelling at him to stop... Took his squeegee away, went to the trunk for a microfiber, hung my gas cap properly, and cleaned up his mess myself... Might adopt the cutting of the rope technique. Looking forward to the rest of this series.

Idk how old your car is but anything pretty much after the 90's have a hook to leave your gas cap on. Idk anyone that takes there cap off and puts it on the car or gas pump when there is a hook to set it up lol That little rope is absolutely 100% the most useless thing, it bangs off your car and scratches it, gets gas all over the car when doing so and looks like trash. rope-less is the way to go
@@ViperRoleplayfivem LOL, well I must be showing my age, as to the best of my knowledge the fuel cap tether wasn't included on cars until mid 90's, so I am guessing no one has owned a car prior to that. And I would also guess the whole reason for the invention of the tether was that people were losing their fuel caps or else we wouldn't see them on cars today, unless there is another purpose for them that I am missing.
@@MrBenw72 Well yeah they added it for that reason, but its the same concept as putting a warning label on bleech not to drink it. Anyone with the IQ of 10 and above knows not to drink it, as well as anyone with an iq over 10 can set there gas cap on a hook and doesnt need a little tether like a dog lol I mean i get it, its a cool concept but like Matt in the video I would much rather drop my gas cap on the ground than have it slip out of my hand on that tether and smack my fresh paint and possibly get gas on it and/or damage the paint.
The M5 is going to look great. On a side note I was not a fan of ferrex. Seemed to dry out to fast compared to Ironx. It also activated slower than Ironx. Hope you have better luck with it.
Love watching these videos along with the Wash & Talks. I agree getting CarPro is a pain sometimes and Optimum is usually available. However have you ever thought about getting into Gyeon? There Iron Remover and and Tar is awesome and i can always get that super quick.
I was using iron x on a cloudy day and then the sun showed up. Basically it left some stains or ruined some black plastics. Thankfully only one part. Btw, I kinda prefer the secondary audio. It sounds lively.
Wasn’t Matt supposed to dry or blow dry the engine before he applying the hyper dressing?, won’t that completely change the dilution spraying on a wet engine ?

Gyeon wouldn't let me sell a few products. I had to carry the whole line. I'm not interest in that.

Any plans to use Rupes Yellow wool pads on this job? I have been so impressed with the results using those pads.
We'll see what the paint calls for in the process. It's possible.

While you’re looking at moving to Optimum for decon products, Optimum TAR is vastly superior to TarX in my experience.
Forget the corvette man. Stroker kit all the way. So much more interesting.
Have you had a look at vorsteiner’s M5? I think they make it look a lot more aggressive without going over the top
What do you think of the pump sprayers for putting down lots product? I see lots of detailers using them, seem really efficient.
Pump sprayers are junk. I don't like them.
