I love your videos. As a photographer and videographer, I’m more a visual person than an audio person. So with that caveat, do you need to de-ess your voice a bit? I think it comes through to my non-professional ears as quite strong, probably because of your accent. As an Aussie, I think I have the same issues with my voice. Am I misunderstanding this? Many thanks.
One thing I struggle with is when someone pulls back from the mic as they finish speaking. Usually in voxpop interview type situation. I use leveller but end up needing to run leveller on each syllable to balance them out. It's a fantastic tool though. Thanks for the video
If you have to edit an audio book for hours this is nightmare task. Wouldn't it be more efficient to work on speech- and microphone techniques and investing in room insulation.
Thanks for watching! Yes, always best to fix it at the source, yes, unfortunately all the dialogue I get to edit has already been recorded elsewhere, so I have to deal with what I’m given, which is where RX shines 🙂
Great video! Thanks for explaining dialogue isolate, so helpful.
Thank you. Please do more on RX9 in repairing noisy dialogue with wind, hums, clicks, etc. Would be much appreciated.
Thank you for this Sam, very useful.
Thanks for watching :D
Please keep diving into the individual tools of RX 9 Thank you,
Thanks for watching. Plenty more RX content on the way. Any specific modules you’d like to me to take a look at?
Any chance you could do one with repairing poor quality audio? From a laptop mic on a zoom call, for example.
@@theoryofthirds I'll see what I can do :)
Hugely helpful! Thanks!
Thanks for watching 👌

Thanks for watching 👍 It’s never been mentioned before, but I’ll be sure to take a close listen on the next one 👌
FRIEND MAKE A VIDEO OF CLEANING THE INSTRUMENTAL OBTAINED REMOVED THE VOICE SEPARATION BY INSTRUMENTS BECAUSE THE VOICE IS FILTERED. THANK YOU
I have Izotope RX9 and I don't see "dialogue isolate" as a choice in my module, am I missing something?
Do you have RX Advanced?
