Fiddler’s being lighter oatmeal with a little softer hand once stitching begins. I’ve been fond of Fiddler’s since the late 70’s. Love, love, love your quilts. Thanks for sharing. Cyndy

Someone left the baby gate ajar, and I’ve been toes-up in that hole for a few weeks now, looking at foundation paper piecing. I adore all things Lori Holt, so when you brought out that quilt, all I could think was “Sew & Sew’s Flosstube #12: where Cathy and Nancy are eaten alive by a ginormous quilt!!” 😂😂. I just love all your cross stitches, and sewing/quilting! You both do such a fine job. Nancy. You said that your pic of you and your grandma wasnt very good. With todays printers, you might be able to sharpen it and bring it back to its original, or almost original condition. I did that with a friends and she was brought to tears because it made it like it was taken yesterday. Just a thought! Glad your dd is doing well Nancy! Cathy, have fun at your retreat. Nancy, A Savior’s Praise is outstanding! I admire how thoughtful you were in planning it all out. Your quilts are amazing! Cathy, I’m also going to the Quilters Station retreat next week! We’re going to the 2nd session. Since you mentioned Thursday, are you going to the 1st session? I hope you’re in the 2nd, so we can see you again. We went to Amana last spring and really liked it, but we want to go to a variety of retreats before we start repeating. Unfortunately, we can’t go to all of them! Everything is so inspiring! Especially the My Happy Place quilt! I’m almost done with Flea Market Flowers and have almost given up on My Happy Place. After seeing yours, I’m going to keep going on it. I have the appliqué block and the tomatoes done. Cathy, I’ll be at Quilters Station too! I’m in the Thursday/Friday session. We have a trailer and hubby and I leave this Friday. We “glamp” at a nearby state park and he fishes and hikes while I attend the retreat. Barbara
Lots of fun projects. Kathy, I also did the Spring Messenger pattern, but mine is smaller. I guess it's because I stitched it on osnaburg, which is like 32 ct. I absolutely love mine!
OMG the quilts!! do I have time for another craft?? I have limited energy throughout the day due to residual pain from Guillain-Barré syndrome, but my sewing room is my happy place. I sew different things but I’ve never made a quilt. I just started cross stitching and I’m taking a course from Whitney on Tomcat Stitchery trying to fit patterns for my self…but I just love those quilts Nancy. Do you ever show how you do them? I know there are many tutorials on quilting but I’m pretty sure everyone has their own style, perhaps you can give us some tips and tricks you’ve learned along the way? I’m sure many would benefit from it. Just curious.😊❤
Have fun at Quilter’s Station. She is mainly a quilt shop, so there is fabric everywhere. If you have a quilt project you want to start, take the pattern and kit it up! Loved all of your projects.

Nancy, I am so glad your daughter is doing well!! I actually work as a nurse in the OR at University of Utah in SLC! There is a real possibility I was there for your daughter's surgery!! We do a ton of cardiac cases and, as you said, it is routine for us. I am so glad she is doing well!

Cathy, I’m also going to the Quilters Station retreat next week! We’re going to the 2nd session. Since you mentioned Thursday, are you going to the 1st session? I hope you’re in the 2nd, so we can see you again. We went to Amana last spring and really liked it, but we want to go to a variety of retreats before we start repeating. Unfortunately, we can’t go to all of them!

Wonderful projects,love all the things you both do…just so beautiful from stitching to quilting love to see it all!👏 I have some of those old Brenda Gervais bunny and chick patterns…Im getting those out and making them for next year they are so cute! I also have those samplers of the Seasons Ive stitched the Spring and I’m working on Summer I’m really enjoying these and are dedicating them to my mom and dad and my father and mother in law…your both so talented and my favorite to watch,thanks so much for sharing…you both keep me motivated and inspired 😊those drums are so beautiful, I have to make that tomato one and the quilts are just incredible…its amazing how much you get done gives me so much hope in my own work,really look forward to every month!!! Everything is so inspiring! Especially the My Happy Place quilt! I’m almost done with Flea Market Flowers and have almost given up on My Happy Place. After seeing yours, I’m going to keep going on it. I have the appliqué block and the tomatoes done. Cathy, I’ll be at Quilters Station too! I’m in the Thursday/Friday session. We have a trailer and hubby and I leave this Friday. We “glamp” at a nearby state park and he fishes and hikes while I attend the retreat. Barbara

Lots of fun projects. Kathy, I also did the Spring Messenger pattern, but mine is smaller. I guess it's because I stitched it on osnaburg, which is like 32 ct. I absolutely love mine!

I have limited energy throughout the day due to residual pain from Guillain-Barré syndrome, but my sewing room is my happy place. I sew different things but I’ve never made a quilt. I just started cross stitching and I’m taking a course from Whitney on Tomcat Stitchery trying to fit patterns for my self…but I just love those quilts Nancy. Do you ever show how you do them? I know there are many tutorials on quilting but I’m pretty sure everyone has their own style, perhaps you can give us some tips and tricks you’ve learned along the way? I’m sure many would benefit from it. Just curious.😊❤

Have fun at Quilter’s Station. She is mainly a quilt shop, so there is fabric everywhere. If you have a quilt project you want to start, take the pattern and kit it up! Loved all of your projects.

Nancy, I am so glad your daughter is doing well!! I actually work as a nurse in the OR at University of Utah in SLC! There is a real possibility I was there for your daughter's surgery!! We do a ton of cardiac cases and, as you said, it is routine for us. I am so glad she is doing well!
