I really appreciate you guys uploading this, even with the lost audio! I know it’s easy to fall into the “It’s not perfect, I can’t let the world see this” mentality. Tim sounds incredible as always, and Zac’s interviews are always great.
Yes, Zac is a top 2 interviewer for sure. Tim is an excellent guest. So thoughtful and expressive in both his playing and when speaking about music and the guitar’s place in it. Thanks to Zac for bringing this to us.
Such a humble nice guy with a great feel and sound!!!! You have to watch his video about how to tune up a guitar... priceless!! I´m no jazz player, but I really dig his stuff!!! Thx for this video!!!!
Glad to watch this and learn a bit of what's going on in Tim's head while he's playing. Tim, your tone is what I'm hearing in my head but haven't yet achieved. I'm not going to think about finding the right guitar so much as I have been; it's already there I just have to find how to let it out. Thank you both for this video. Peace.
Double Stops! Thats such great advice, melody first then another member of the current triad. Its cool when the chord/triad changes but the melody stays on the same note. Bluegrass players do this on all instruments, which are mimicking the vocal harmonies.
Never thought of the juxtaposition of the jazz. Riffs on the sophisticated side of the hillbillies, good ear 👂, on the jazz riff on the ellie may description. Very cool. He's got a black guard so ,
Great Video to watch on Christmas Eve! Thanks for uploading! Just one small request: Santa needs to gift you guys a wireless DJI Mic 2 (or something similar) so that the dialogue will have more presence and no room sound.
@@TruetoneFX Indeed but he has several with different pickups and he seems to favor them for different situations. I like that he explains the reason behind his selections. Thanks for a well rounded interview and you staying out of the way but guiding the flow. Well done if I may say so.
It's funny the last iteration of Roy Buchanan on the alligator record, he got away from the pretty jazz stuff and kinda went distortion CrAzY in tone In mabey how hendrix was pretty in a heavy distorted tone.
Super cool👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Tim Lerch is absolutely amazing and gets better every year.
I’ve never heard of Tim Lerch. I’m glad I’ve heard of him now. Awesome player and storyteller. Thanks Zac! Merry Christmas!
Superb interview. Tim is a true gentleman of Jazz, and the starting joke really set the tone for a very enjoyable exchange between the two of you.
This is a great interview. Thanks for sharing it. Tim is a wonderful player, on his own path. Glad to hear this chat.
Thanks Zac!!! Amazing interview. Tim is a treasure
Great explanations of not just technical issues, but how to approach and develop the art of music. Bravo.
Very glad the camera audio was available as back-up! 😉 Really interesting interview. 'Ask Zac' Zac asks such good questions and lets his guests talk

Fantastic. Been waiting a long time for this 🎉🎉🎉
Tim Lerch! Great choice for an interview!
That was REALLY cool! I’ve seen Tim on a few different shows but this one spoke to me.
Excellent! Thanks you guys.
Fantastic playing and discussion-thanks!
Great player and lovely person.
My CS-12 is so amazing! All the best folks!
Great interview.

I wish I had the wealth of talent and knowledge Tim has in his pinky nail!

Tim is great !
I can dig how he's kinda sliding on top of the music 🎶, like his references to the slippery rock skipping on the water
Merry X-Mas
The original idea of the tele ,especially the pickup configuration was to achieve loud L - 5 , tones aka. Front bassy original wiring tone.
You’ve changed mic setup from the former TrueTone Lounge interviews- the old one MUCH preferred
We had some issues with audio this time around.
Tim is sooo good. I wish he could talk about the Tele(s) he plays.
He did

I think I remember big Al Anderson doing that kind of stuff.

Gentle giant..
Seattle boy.
To be honest the audio sounds half decent

The Ask Zac theme is kinda lame after listening to Tim.. jk.. great show!😊
Thanks
No disrespect by the way. He’s amazing on another level.
