Great 👍 review and show ! I own and drive a 81 Oldsmobile Delta 88 sedan which is similar to your Buick . These were pretty good cars back in the day and were pretty popular well before the crossovers phase .
Hard to see but I wouldnt call it "super super minty" it maybe could be super but with all the little things it needs it maybe able to bring back to super minty but in the future. I dont know if your going to keep it or sell it but whoever gets it has to be willing to put work enough into it to keep it in perfect shape, it deserves that much.
For a candian car its pretty minty apart from the little things It got cleaned up alot after this video. And actually ended up going to Dubai for a private collection
Wow this just popped up in my feed, I own the same car! Mine is brown with cranberry red interior. Inherited from my father when he passed away 2 years ago. He kept it in the garage and it only has 18,237 original miles on it. My father drove it only for a couple of years before he lost his eye site to macular degeneration and was declared disabled. He started it up just about everyday and would sit in it to listen to his tape collection. I have only driven it out a handful of times because I’m scared something will happen to it.
Wow what a find for you. And what a find this channel is for me! You seem a super nice guy and I look forward to seeing you do more like this and also do something with that motorhome. The motorhome brings back memories because I travelled the whole of the us in a chieftain just like yours in 1990 with my then wife. We bought it for 18k, put 35000 miles on it in two years and then sold it for 28k in a car boot sale! They are beasts and bullet proof running gear. Good luck. Cheers Bill u.k
Thanks Bill it means alot 👍 I'm glad your enjoying the channel! Oh wow that's an awesome story and you made money can't complain! Those motors really are bulletproof. Thanks brother 🙏
Weren’t those 80s olds/Buicks usually a 307 v8? Brings back memories…I used to steer my grandpas LeSabre sitting on his lap when I was little…35 years ago!
Black with red stripes. I'm the 2nd owner, sat for 10 years. The guy I brought it from, his wife mom owned the car so he knows it from top to bottom. He's working on it as we speak
That's awesome sounds like it's gonna be a nice car! Kinda the same situation like mine as well haha. Good luck on it and I hope you enjoy it after it's all done 👍 👌
My aunt had one same thing but her 2 tone colors were dark gray on the top light gray on the bottom. Sadly she didn't have it long because it was stolen the same day she bought it and when they found it few weeks later it was totally stripped 🙊 I remember it like it was yesterday and it was awful. Beautiful cars
This one's from Canada 🇨🇦 it was literally kept in that very garage since 85 haha 😄 3 layers of house carpet on the ground underneath it and oiled plus no winter driving! He loved this car
Welcome to Buick they always drive smooth.
Thanks!

Thanks much appreciated! They were and still are good cars forsure. And I believe you are right it should have the 307 I believe

That is so cool you included your grandfather! Old people need to feel needed and wanted, and they get lonely. Nice car, how much mileage on it?
It was great to have him on here and he loved it. It's hard to get him out! Thank you! It has 68,xxx km on it!

And your grandfather is an awesome fellow!
Here in Canada, they all got Derby, Rotted out or a bit of both.

Those tires were standard. Is this a collector's series? Unusual to NOT HAVE a vinyl top. It alfd?
They sold them at candian tire here so I'm not quiet sure they are standard. And yes it's a collector series
Nice 👍
Thank you !

100% awesome to see one like this 💪
Great vid
Thank you much appreciated 🙏
If you ever want to sell it, please reach out, my mom used to have the same exact car (color combo and options).
Will do!
Did you end up selling the car?
Vogue tyre makes the tires :)
You didn’t do anything wrong! Keep the car
Thank you my friend 🙏
