    My favorite jerky is bacon. 😉 I agree when I buy a bag it's gone in no time. You do have my address the next time you make some right???? 😁

    This is one of the most original takes on smoking/bacon that I've seen. Great job! Keep these great ideas flowing! You're knocking it out of the park.

    Very well made video, and this guy is very well spoken. I could tell from his intro that he knew what he was talking about. Liked.

    Ry you came up in my recommendations last week, no idea why. But you are the reason I bought a smoker this week. Started off with a brisket and sausages. Thank you for being the Bob Ross of smoking

    I can’t stay out of it! I gave it a few modifications and it came out great. I used thick cut and rolled it around in the dry mixture. They grew in length, so I cut them in half. I think that with them stretched, they dried out easier. Pellet grill at 180 - 200 deg. and 7 1/2 hours. The coding was probably thicker than yours so no dipping sauce was required.

    Thinking of dry brining pork tenderloin just like bacon and making actually jerky rather than just dehydrated store bacon. Could even do a biltong style cure with honey a clove or maple instead of coriander seed.

    Has some bacon jerky last summer. It was so good. It was store bought and it was very good so I can't imagine how over the top homemade Bacon jerky like this would be. But it IS on my list of must do for this coming BBQ season!

    Can you make a corn beef on the Weber kettle for st. Patrick’s day

    • @CookingWithRy
      @CookingWithRy  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sure can. If you're talking about a packaged corned-beef, just cook it indirect to a minimum internal temp of 145. You can add a little smoke if you like, but not too heavy.

    Hi

  • @tlb796
    @tlb796 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Uncured pork belly is "side pork" not bacon. Bacon is a cured pork belly.

    • @tlb796
      @tlb796 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not meant as criticism. I'm just unsure if you dehydrated pork belly or bacon.

    • @CookingWithRy
      @CookingWithRy  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It was bacon.
