Hey, I just bought my first tree, (it will arrive in 4 days) the tree is 6 years old. What should I do when the tree arrived? Should I cut some branches or what are the first steps after arriving ?

Finally I found a clear and easy video for a beginner and my Fukien. It is still small(wish I could attach a photo) and now feel more confident after your video about pruning as it is has alot of foliage. It is summer here in Florida, so warm/humid. Should I pull the leaves off or let them fall naturally? I hope you have a video on correct soil. Thank you SO much....I subscribed;)
Hi, as i experience leaves doesn't fall naturally unless the soil is not good. I normally used riversand(coarse) mixed with lavarock. Hope this helps. ❤️

I wouldn't suggest defoliating in that way, but i am unwilling to accidentally crush or kill buds.
