A crow comes daily to my windowsill. I give him some roti(A Indian soft bread) ,bread and fruits and water in a bowl the windowsill. He soaks it in the bowl and then eats it . He always stares funnily into the room. He is very cute. He sits on the windowsill daily for at least one hour. Then he flys away and comes. Back again the next day. He even sharpens his shiny beak on the grill

You guys remind me of the feeding time for zebra finches huge aviary, a flat of all kinds of carrot peel , apple, lettuce, alapha sprouts, bird seeds, etc. Then I'd lay on the floor and watch them enjoy their food. After they played on the mini swing set had a latter to climb on, a perch top. Sand on the inside cage for sanitation. I miss those days. No pets now😭 so it's nice to watch others. Just watched Jacque Mayol( Big blue) movie of his dives, his life, Dolphin man. One must admire the strength to love contribute to knowledge and fight to stay happy. Tough words

This is terrible! So sorry to hear that! There really are some horrible, sick people around everywhere who could do such a thing! We rescued another crow baby and a magpie baby in June from an area where there were lots of dead birds. Obviously some sick bastard had killed them. So, we now have three crows and a magpie who you can see in our recent videos. You are so right! They really become family members who are always longing your company and are always so happy to see you!

Hi there, I was wondering how you keep Peach’s beak from getting overgrown. My little Rick has a varied diet, plenty of wooden toys, and a cuttlefish bone that he doesn’t care too much about, but his beak often becomes overgrown and needs to be trimmed.

    • @chv72

When Peach's beak gets over grown we take him to the Vet clinic here at the University and they use a dremel tool. We have never attempted to trim his beak ourselves.

What about the insects and stuff??I've seen where some people will feed Crows Dog food?? Is there a special Pet Food you can recommend??? I finally saw the meal worms in a plastic jar. Great ! Yummy ! I think Peach is a little "Camera shy" due to the feeding protocols being changed.

We feed our crows the soaked dry dog food that Kassie gets, TLC dog food. We usually put dog food in one dish and other stuff in another. It's fun to watch them take turns while eating, so patiently waiting after each other to get an access to the dish! :-)

Did you guys have this guy as a baby bird or did you feed him and he kept coming back? Because at the moment i’m feeding 2 crows, haven’t had them on my hand or something but they’re living in a tree 10 meters away from my house! i’d like some crow friends

My dear little jackdaw, Sjoerd, loves to drink coffee with me in the morning. Not for the coffee, but to pick the almonds or hazelnuts from the cookies.

Peach is also a great breakfast companion! There's a video on our channel Breakfast with our Pet Crow. Peach says caw caw to Sjoerd! :-)

Hello I found a crow outside and I think it may be injured .. it lives in a bush and stays there most the day I feel so bad for it. It's becoming winter and im afraid it gets cold I live in California. What do you think? I'm going to get a box or something stuff it with blankets. What do you suggest?

If you have a wildlife rescue in your area, maybe give them a call for some advice. The bird may be in pain and needs help.

Just saved a young crow with I'm thinking a broken wing, I wateing for tomorrow to tape up his or her wing ,call wild life animals but,for wat I see they didnt care about the bird so I'm careing for the poor bird im hopeing that I'm doing a good job on bird I'm hopeing it could be my pet when the bird gets well and helthey ,but he's free to fly away when ever he or she wants , most importantly for me is for it to get well

It's hard to say if the wing will heal good enough to fly properly again but wish the best.

You two (three) are very sweet. How did you come to live with Peach? I am wanting to adopt a crow. Any tips?

How often do you feed him like this? Is this daily? I’m thinking of getting a pet crow!

His daily diet is moistened cat kibble but gets a variety of these other things every other day.

I have crows which visit but one comes close to me and makes a clicking sound with it's beak and then a type of singing whilst looking at me . If I speak or whistle the crow repeats the noises and fly around me to watch what I'm doing. Why is this?

I think they just enjoy interacting with you! They are such intelligent birds! Thanks for watching!
