It took me 3 hours to follow this step by step. Worth every second. I did have to do the area by the Albs base many times before I made it in. Thanks for doing the work so I could enjoy the game.

In the observatory by the Adventurer’s Amulet (1st item), there’s a lot of loot but especially pick up the Ring of Vigor on a skeleton in the upper section of the observatory. Boosts HP which really helps early game
You can reach the Ice Palace from the other side you came through, avoiding most of the icy areas and negating the need to constantly pop natural elex. It's a longer way, for sure, but it saves you money and cold levels.
Nice! You sure know how to get around Magalan. I'll have to try this some time. I finished Elex as an Outlaw in about 50 hours back when it came out. I wish the game had a new game plus.

I'm curious why you didn't go back into the Observatory after speaking to Duras to collect the Ring of Vigor? *If anyone's interested it's in the upper floor of the building on the hanging skeleton. You need the jetpack to get it and the lift only unlocks to go back up after you've spoken to Duras.*
So think i found or have been doing a different way of doing the glitch I would grab what i could from armorsmith and instead of reset i would go to the third tab and just puttem back sort does the same thing as the reset but much better dont have to back out and can repeat
I'm so close to getting the armor but I can't seem to get in the right position to scale over the barrier.im on the left side base trying to climb the ledges but it's not going as it went for you
Hey, the trick is to get as high as possible after jumping from that small patch of grass. Once you have good height you can then focus on moving forward to clear the barrier.
Also, you can look up Siniša Krišan for a very detailed run of getting to, and over the barrier. He has a video focused on just that. But do make sure once you're over and inside the ice palace you don't activate the teleport or grab anything else.
The game was on sale for less than 10 bucks so I figured why not. This was one of those games I always looked at but never played because I play other titles n never got around to it despite the rough start there's an allure about the game that makes me want to give it a chance. Also, when I saw the trailers for the 2nd, despite never playing the original til yesterday, I said "I want it". Thanks for this video and I hope you enjoy the 2nd as much as I hope to P.S. Level 3, best armor and have the three highest damaging weapons without joining a faction. Achievable in under 30 minutes too :)

I would recommend maybe playing something different in between the two. So you don’t have a direct comparison. I went right from Elex 1 to Elex 2 and I said the same thing at first. I actually wasn’t sure if I’d even like it. But then it got better
@@LegendaryCarry yea when i first started elex 2 i was questioning myself on buying it because it wasnt like other games i couldnt even figure out the quest system so i basically just wandered around the map leveling up but then i started to figure out what to do and it was so much fun but then i thought of playing the first one

Oh, I was mentioning that when I buy the Plasma Rifle from the Cleric Travelling Merchant at 9:40 I’d normally also have purchased ammo for the gun, but I didn’t have enough money at the time. I will circle back to buying ammo near the end of the video at 36:15 time stamp

You need this to make the game difficulty into normal cause the mofos you encounter in the early game are too OP. Freaking worse than dark souls over here lol. 😂 thanks!
YES, definitely harder than FromSoft’s souls games. Those all have easy starter areas and enemies, this game asks: “Oh you think this is a GAME?” Anything bigger than a mouse deletes you 😂

Playing fair is fun! It is interesting to upgrade weapons yourself and develop those skills that you think are right in order to test your intellectual abilities on Ultra difficulty. Every fool can go to the wiki and find a weapon or amulet with an ability, everyone can use elex drinks, every fool can steal and clean people's pockets, everyone can use drugs while in the faction of clerics and berserkers, where this is considered a crime, but it is much more interesting to play honestly - not using the terrible game design of this game.
I really agree with you there. I didn’t learn about the exploits until my second play through, the game was really fun and challenging. I actually just finished a speedrun of Elex 2 on Ultra with no glitches. Very tricky, but was a lot of fun

true, but this game came out in 2017, so to be fair it’s a little older and it’s from a smaller developer. The PS5 will load it much faster, but the game was made for PS4. The sequel just came out though, and it’s had some large improvements to the graphics and was designed for next gen!

Theres a warrior sword 1 right beside that amulet of protection, for anyone interested.

I was able to get everything but the shield and gun cause the merchant never showed up for me.
