Schumacher was the reason i loved Formula 1 in 90's... I was waking up early to watch races and now i dont know any single racer... I hope he will heal and even race again !.. He never gives up he'll be with us..
While Lewis has records, Michael has 2 Nations, Germany and Italy, an iconic team building legacy and like many have said here, he has our hearts. I've never watched this video with dry eyes. No matter how hard I try, I still get emotional. The people that Michael and Corinna are is very special. When they gave $10,000,000.00 to the tsunami relief effort, many that didn't know about it from the news couldn't believe it. Michael, we need you back. #keepfighting
Yes indeed.. dont forget a lot more races per season now so therefore imo much easier to beat previous records!! So if your car/driver is on form beating the rest for a few seasons naturally they will get/beat records.... Michael choose Ferrari and brought them up to top ranks together with the great crew..
Look at that... this wasn't only a team, this was family. It hurts if you see whats happening with Vettel and Ferrari these days. In my opinion nobody is close to Michael, he won it 5 times in row with Ferrari... It'll take a long time until somebody equals that
Many F1 champions might catch up in terms of records to Michael, but none will ever reach them all combined as Michael did to be the absolute Nr1 in this sport! This video is so emotional as it reminds me of so many hours sweating and celebrating during his races. Schumi will always be in our F1 minds 🫶
Probably the only driver in F1 that was loved so much by his team members and fans alike. Keep fighting Michael, we want you back. Damn, why that red helmet was not with you on that skiing day... :'(
What he meant was if only Michael used his red helmet (Ferrari helmet) he could've had less injury than what he have right now since F1 helmet is very durable as F1 racing is a very dangerous motor sport.
you are living everyday without schumacher you bunch of hypocrites... sorry guys but this has nothing to do with being a good human. Take care of your families like you do with schumacher ! FFS !
Greg Recovski But we miss him, don't you too? There would have been so many great stories if he was still around, p.e. he would (or will be) very happy to see Sebastian taking his footsteps at Ferrari or being at racetrack when his son Mick drives etc...He surely would have told a lot of funny and interesting things we probably will never get to know..😔
Greg Recovski, you are not a good person, you can love your family, take care of it as you can .. but you can also love a person just because it made us dream for so many years. it's my case with Michael, I've never met him but I love him, he gave us a lot of joy. the one and only thing we can do for him is to show him our unconditional love.
The greatest of all time, without any doubt, he forever changed the role a driver can play in a team, the way he led and behaved to the mechanics, his understanding and deep interest in all aspect of F1 racing, including technical part - complete package. Keep fighting Legend
The moment he looks at Jean Todd while taking of his helmet :) Is someone cutting onions here? He really was my hero when I was a kid. All those early mornings for the races in Australia and Japan. And now he's just a shade of a human being, it saddens me to my core :(
Richard de Hoop me too... He was my hero as well! I remember my friends joking that I had to get up so early in the morning to watch a grand prix. But now I miss that excitement, I miss watching God on a wet track. I was priviledged enough to go to Monza in 2001, got two invitations from Jean Todt himself, one of the greatest 2 days of my life !
Wow that's so cool :) I've been a fan of this sport since 1996, but I never got the opportunity to visit a Grand Prix. The tickets are so damn expensive. I'm also from the Netherlands and we don't have a race here. At least we have Verstappen now :P He reminds me of Schumacher.
Wasn't (and not) a Ferrari fan, nor a Michael Schumacher fan. The utter domination of the sport that Ferrari & Schumi displayed back in the day, bored me to tears (being a McLaren & WIlliams fan back then, I wanted to see someone BESIDES Ferrari/Schumi win a race). BUT... Schumi is a legend, and so is Ferrari. RESPECT. I shed a tear or 2 watching this. Even though I wasn't a fan or supporter of his or Ferrari, I recognize what he & Ferrari did & do for the sport. F1 wouldn't be what it is today without Ferrari, and arguably, the fans that Schumi brought into the sport that endure to this day. The fact that he's in the condition that he is at present, is a travesty. I hope he regains his ability to speak, one day. No one wants to see a legend go down in the manner that he did, but to never regain motor function, or speech... just sad. I miss seeing him at the races and in the pits, after his retirement. I miss being able to swear under my breath that I hated the guy, cuz no one else could win when he was on track. I miss him. Truly.
The great man. This is the Michael Schumacher we all knew and loved. This is how we remember him. Great to also see the emotion from Luca, John and Ross at the end. They know how much he means to Ferrari, Italy and motorsport fans all over the world. You've been away too long now. Its time to come back Michael.
91 GP victories, 7 F1 titles, 155 podium finishes, 77 fastest race laps, 5111 overall lead laps, 16824 laps raced, 65 Pols and 1566 Career points. He truly was the best there ever was and ever will be. I do not think that any of the current races will ever accomplish what he did. F1 the way it is is not the F1 I enjoyed - to much politics and Bernie and Charlie truly have ruined it for me at least. I hope Schumi will one day be able to speak to his fans again until that time I pray and hope for his recovery.
EVERY dang time I watch this I cry, why does this song seem so powerful with the overlay of this video! Miss that man!! Keep fighting Michael!! We all love ya man!!!
THE greatest of ALL time - No disrespect to Mr Hamilton. This man captivated millions with his passion, precision, dedication and unwavering commitment to be the best. Get well Michael!!
I remember when i was a child my father and my uncles gathered in my house to watch the grand prix .. I remember Michael's victories with Ferrari, the podiums with the Italian anthem, that red car that made me dream and still makes me dream... great emotions that I will always carry in my heart ... grazie Michael. And I know we will come back as strong as before. FORZA FERRARI!
I am a 15 year old boy, and i am passionate about Formula 1 since 2006. My biggest regret is not having had the chance to follow Michael and Ferrari at his best. Not to have those memories kept inside me....Forza Ferrari and #keepfightingMicheal for ever!
+Luca Minucci I watched F1 as of 2000. So basically I got to see only 50% of his career. But the memories I have of him in F1 are something I will never forget. I have never seen a person with so much passion for perfection and racing. It's something that you cannot describe when you see him driving. It's like he was always one step ahead of everyone else. Simply incredible...
+Luca Minucci oh believe me, it wasnt fun to watch, just like vettel's winning streak at red bull. but its impressive though, and i still think late 90's early 00 is still the best years in F1
He was a great talent, but what made him really an icon was the 100% dedication to racing, in each lap, each training session, each test drive, each interview, or as Rosberg once said: "He was a warrior". I have learned from him that if you get the best out of yourself, in every aspect and in every moment of your life, it is always good enough. Good enough for yourself, because if you live like that, it doesn´t matter what the others say.
Even if Lewis Hamilton wins 10 more Championship, he'll never gonna be love and respected as much as Michael. His retirement from F1 at Ferrari marked the end of an era of continuous greatness. Kissed and hugged by the whole team and thousands 'tifosi' gathered to see his last lap with Ferrari, the impact he gave & had with Ferrari are so immense. No one else could ever achieve this even if his records are shattered by other drivers.
@@jigglediggle29 youvare somewhat correct. They signed Kimi when McLaren signed Alonso (or soon thereafter). They were assuming Michael would retire. Massa was on a two year deal. So even if Michael decided to keep going, Massa, who had become a protege of Schumacher's, would have been shafted.
I am literally crying... I am so sad I was too young to see his races live, but I remember my dad an I watched him race when I was like 3 or so. I asked him: who is that car? And he told me: Its Michael, he is the best! My name is Michael too, and it doesnt matter I didnt see him live many times, I love this man! I would die to see him in person! Only he and my grandfather can make me cry like that... I miss you Michael. i love you and I hope you get better soon. Keep fighting, we stand besides you for ever ♥️
My absolute hero, he will probably won’t be the driver with most wins or with most pole positions or the driver with most championships but one thing is for sure, Michael helped to build the golden era of Ferrari and that some thing any driver has ever done, forever in my heart as a Ferrari fan Forza Ferrari Forza Michael
Based upon this video we could easely write a entire novel. This video is the perfect summary of the legacy that Michael left behind at Ferrari. Jean Todt, Ross Brawn, Rory Byrne, Andrea Stella, Montezemolo (totally in tears), this few men, and others, brought back Ferrari from the ashes. This goodbye to Michael was perfect. The emotion on this video is out of this planet. At this point i dont care if hamilton breaks Shummi's records, hope he does, because in these past times i saw Michael's recognition grow up. Hamilton can not even come close at what this video represents. I miss you so much Shummi! As David Coulthard said on his letter.....Michael was....THE PERFECT VILLAIN!
I've never seen these moments when i was sixsteen and this video makes me cry becasue it remembers me every single episode, in front of the TV, with my father and my brother. Every time he won, lose and crash, my hearth stopped. We suffered, we rejoiced, we cried with you from kilometers we shared same emotions and i have to say thank you Schumy for all the memories that I have with me. God bless you.
This was the the end of a great era of racing, this video made me tear up a little bit, i miss the old days, i want the old Schumacher back, and i want Senna back... R.I.P Senna and old Shumi, and R.I.P good old Formula 1 :')
***** Dont be sad about it, im sure F1 today is just as good.. The reason people talk so good about the "old days" which obviously isnt the old days, is because of nostaliga!
Seeing Michael so emotional with all the Ferrari team makes you realise how much they really loved him, Michael is a legend would be lovely to see that smile again from some one who loved his trade like he did,
Not only was Schumacher one of the greatest drivers ever in F1 History, he also honored and respected the living legend he ultimately replaced; Ayrton Senna, and unselfishly retired not wanting to surpass Senna's pole record. The duels those two would have had would have been totally epic. He certainly lifted Ferrari into the stratosphere with his brilliance. I doubt we will ever see anything resembling a driver and team relationship like this again in F1. Keep fighting Schumi!
@@is-gy7vt Yes you are right but they had patched things up. When Senna died at Imola Schumacher cried and didn’t feel the need to celebrate the win. He was also asked who he thought the greatest driver in F1 was of all time and he chose Senna.
Emotional seeing this again. I tuned into f1 in 95 and when Schumi as double world champion decided to switch to Ferrari, I knew that in 96 that's where my support would be going. That decade with the Scuderia had everything; brilliant wins, joy, politics, controversy, injury, comebacks, success, struggle, ruthlessness, cunning, love, affection and disappointment. I can't hear the German national anthem and not expect fratelli d italia to pipe up a few seconds later. In a time of plenty of changes in my life, the one constant I had was Michael Schumacher giving a 100% in his Ferrari, every time out and me willing him on. To me he is the greatest. Most people will have their own criteria of what makes a sportsman 'great' - for me it's about not only reaching the top, but having the desire, tenacity and skill to stay there. Grazie Michael.

Oh God I used to hate Schumacher so much when I was a kid, because I was mclaren fan. But after so many years truth must be told:he is the greatest formula 1 pilot of all time
schumacher will always be the best.
Senna is considered the best of all, even Schumacher chose him as the best driver.
Doesn’t matter, both Senna & Schumi are better than Lulu even if he wins 10 titles!
@@lm240specz Senna needed more time, who knows how many more Grand Prix & titles he would have won. As far as Schumacher as compared to Lewis, this will be a debate till the end of time. Stats will say Lewis was better but the thousands of salty racefans like yourself could careless about cold hard factual statistics...
Vine Wood I’m sure you’ve heard of the phrase “it’s not wether you win or lose, it’s how you play the game” well is thousands of salty fanboys like urself that know how fitting this is in this situation & cant face the cold hard facts that anyone can win & break records in the best/fastest car available to them most of their career. But most fanboys are too busy being distracted by Lulu’s penis constantly being in their mouth that they forget he was beaten over a full season in the same car by Jenson & Nico... & that the difference between him & Schumi is that Schumi made Ferrari great again, whereas Mercedes made Lulu great due to having the greatest F1 car in the history of the sport!

Agreed😢
Yes indeed.. dont forget a lot more races per season now so therefore imo much easier to beat previous records!! So if your car/driver is on form beating the rest for a few seasons naturally they will get/beat records.... Michael choose Ferrari and brought them up to top ranks together with the great crew..
Look at that... this wasn't only a team, this was family. It hurts if you see whats happening with Vettel and Ferrari these days.
In my opinion nobody is close to Michael, he won it 5 times in row with Ferrari... It'll take a long time until somebody equals that
Plot twist, the person who does it is another Schumacher
@@phxmaster9684 In Ferrari 2030-2034 plus 2029 constructors championship

This video is very emotional
Incredibly emotional....hits me every time.
Get's me right in the heart, the greatest of all time Schumi.
That team loved Schumacher, every one of them... Shows what a great person he is, despite the criticism.
Ferrari for we italians is not only a car...
Thanks Schumi.. 🇮🇹♥️
Scuderia Ferrari is a religion 🙏
Probably the only driver in F1 that was loved so much by his team members and fans alike. Keep fighting Michael, we want you back. Damn, why that red helmet was not with you on that skiing day... :'(
He used helmet, if he wasn' t used helmet he would be dead already.
What he meant was if only Michael used his red helmet (Ferrari helmet) he could've had less injury than what he have right now since F1 helmet is very durable as F1 racing is a very dangerous motor sport.
If only he didn't have a camera on the helmet, it was the camera mount that made the injury so much worse. :(

Greg Recovski But we miss him, don't you too? There would have been so many great stories if he was still around, p.e. he would (or will be) very happy to see Sebastian taking his footsteps at Ferrari or being at racetrack when his son Mick drives etc...He surely would have told a lot of funny and interesting things we probably will never get to know..😔
Greg Recovski But what are you saying, what has it got to do with our families.. All of us want Michael to survive and get back to a normal life
Greg Recovski, you are not a good person, you can love your family, take care of it as you can .. but you can also love a person just because it made us dream for so many years. it's my case with Michael, I've never met him but I love him, he gave us a lot of joy. the one and only thing we can do for him is to show him our unconditional love.
The greatest of all time, without any doubt, he forever changed the role a driver can play in a team, the way he led and behaved to the mechanics, his understanding and deep interest in all aspect of F1 racing, including technical part - complete package. Keep fighting Legend
I actually cried like a baby watching this
Souhail Harrak imo that's not a shake i did the same
Me too ! Seriously... I miss him, he was... one of the greatest
I miss him. Truly.
Thank you , for this Kind of Words
very touching! I never will forget this great time! For the love of Ferrari and Michael!

+1eXi1 Yes, I hope to live those moments with Seb, because I think he is the perfect successor to Schumacher, it is intended to do what Schumi did.
+Luca Minucci oh believe me, it wasnt fun to watch, just like vettel's winning streak at red bull. but its impressive though, and i still think late 90's early 00 is still the best years in F1

Me too, I miss him so much, we will never see another F1 driver like him, the greatest, the icon, the legend, Michael Schumacher.
same man.. same.
The end of an era ... and I saw it all!
And of ferrari
He will always be the best F1 Driver in History... no one can beat him
Michael, I love you. PLS stay with us!
Aryton and Heaven can wait.
apa papa what a comment man respect...he has to wait
Even if Lewis Hamilton wins 10 more Championship, he'll never gonna be love and respected as much as Michael. His retirement from F1 at Ferrari marked the end of an era of continuous greatness. Kissed and hugged by the whole team and thousands 'tifosi' gathered to see his last lap with Ferrari, the impact he gave & had with Ferrari are so immense. No one else could ever achieve this even if his records are shattered by other drivers.
He was forced to leave because of Kimi.
Lewis will be loved and respected Lmao what are you saying

Only he and my grandfather can make me cry like that... I miss you Michael. i love you and I hope you get better soon. Keep fighting, we stand besides you for ever ♥️
My absolute hero, he will probably won’t be the driver with most wins or with most pole positions or the driver with most championships but one thing is for sure, Michael helped to build the golden era of Ferrari and that some thing any driver has ever done, forever in my heart as a Ferrari fan
Forza Ferrari Forza Michael

There will only ever be one Michael Shumacher❤️
As David Coulthard said on his letter.....Michael was....THE PERFECT VILLAIN!

and i know Scumacher isnt dead, but the old spirit of him is.
He broke that record.
MSC and Senna had a very frosty relationship - just look at 1992-1994 incidents and moments between them.
@@is-gy7vt Yes you are right but they had patched things up. When Senna died at Imola Schumacher cried and didn’t feel the need to celebrate the win. He was also asked who he thought the greatest driver in F1 was of all time and he chose Senna.
Max veel beter dan die homo
Beautiful words mate.

20 years ago, the first of five championships with Scuderia, the beginning of a red era... I hope all the TIFOSI around the world can see this video and feel great emotions ❤️❤️❤️
I watched the legend all my life.. HE and I are the same age and I loved watching the man race.... Its just so sad I hope and pray he wakes up some day.. For his family's sake... Love you Michael..
Keep fighting, Michael. We all want you to get through this. The greatest of our time. Grazie, Michael.
That was the golden age of formula one. Todays racing has nothing to do with these times …
“Get in there Lewis”😒😒😞😞
01 to 04 was not a golden age for F1. It was probably more boring today. Way less track action than now and very predictable race result.
Miss you Mike❤️🇩🇪🇮🇹
Thanks Michael for all these fantastics Races , all F1 Ferrari Fans love you
