NGL i still rewatch this from time to time because I grew up watching complexity during the old 1.6 days of CS. Crazy to see how far esports has come!
Same here. 33 yo, this era of cs was gold.
Golden days of NA CS when Complexity and 3D were doing well in 2005-06. This is one of the best CS 1.6 documentary content ever. Also, CAL was really a great CS league ever offered for NA region at the time.

I always thought storm had alot of good insight about the game too. Was always a treat to pick his brain. Very passionate kid at the time and rly smart.
i remember watching this religiously as a 14 year old in 2005 just wanting to be so good at the game. ah yes i love how competitive gaming has grown since then. no more CAL!
I'm right there with you. I was so deep into CS 1.6, I went semi-pro, but life got in the way as it always does. Either way. Competitive gaming doesn't feel the same as it did back then. There was so much more passion and dedication. It was genuinely fun, and yes I miss CAL!
@@whatsclaydoing3384 Oh shoot! I bet if you tried you'd be still pretty good at FPS, those who were reared on 1.6 always surprise people when they hop on games like Valorant and what not. But yeah I feel like it's grown much bigger but the guys who were doing it back then were so passionate because you literally had to be if you were going to, there was nothing else!

remember playing in their comeback tournament years ago, old school guys I played with hyped me up before we played in the tournament by showing me this.
Proud to be a spectator of the History of this great game and organization. As it feels we are on a make or break point in the success and longevity of NA counter-strike...again. I hope people can come together and work towards keeping NA CS prosperous.
And hopefully a hard shift in player mentality, drama scene for 20+ years 😅
