Brilliant channel, refreshing content and great commentary. I love seeing the warts and all type content from getting stuck and all the faff you have to do for the shots and video you want. Keep up the great work. Maybe look at getting an insta 360 mounted to the bars for shots facing you. Adds another pov. Vid lengths are great, don't make them shorter. I really want to get a gs when i pass my bike test.
@benjicollins1 thanks for the support my friend, the Insta is in the mail as we speak so hopefully soon I will add another perspective. I appreciate the feedback on vid length and I think I will try to keep them around 20-25 min unless something extraordinary happens 😂. I hope you pass your bike test with flying colours and are out riding in no time. Cheers mate
@ex0b1t I was doing the same exact thing while waiting for mine. the anticipation was killing me.😂 I hope everything goes smoothly for you and your out and riding in no time. Which model did you go for?
@sjohbandevos1913 thanks for the support mate, I’m glad you enjoyed seeing how I do the off bike shots. I will be trying to put more of those shots in my videos in the future. Good to know about length as well😀 and I will try to keep within the time you recommend. Thanks for the comment
keep doing the videos. One thing i notices, there is lots of noise(visual) especially the trees? try changjng the settings or even shoot in high res and export as 1080p?
@celulatamil thanks for the support mate, as for settings do you have any recommendations? this video was shot on gopro 8 with 4K 30FPS superwide and was uploaded in 4K. do you mean shoot in 4K and upload in 1080p? Im still very new to this so I appreciate your advice!!!
@@BavarianBloodhound1 the max resolution I could see is 1080p. gopro or most action camera struggles with Trees or fast moving artifacts. It's tricky to get it working.
@texlee1640 Im currently living in Estonia, northern most baltic state in europe. Whats your thoughts on the Garmin is it pretty easy to import the gpx files and for software updates? thanks for the support and the comment.🤟
@@BavarianBloodhound1 Estonia, definitely a country on my must visit list along with most of the other former Combloc countries. I spent a fair bit of time in Oslo in a past life but I never made it that far east in my travels. Some day! I ran the original Zumo XT prior to the XT2 so I am fairly familiar with the functionality and quirks. Importing GPX files is easy with the app, running your phone and music are a cinch as well. They are pricey units and it seems there are Apply CarPlay based units taking over for less money in recent months.
I think I will definitely need to travel to all the nordic countries also as I think they would be amazing to ride, Estonia is a beautiful country and the off-roading is pretty good too. thanks for the info on the Garmin, I will add it to the list for research😁.
@@BavarianBloodhound1 my pleasure mate. We are very similar people seems to me. Anyway, I plan to buy the exact same bike this summer. If it all goes to plan. At that point I also want to start filming a bit, just like you. More for my own entertainment. So I love your GS and all the accessories you have on it. That’s just how I see my future GS to be. How do you find the QS, a lot of reviews say negative feedback about it. But I owned a boxer BMW R9T and even that simple gearbox was excellent to me.
@@roverroko306 yeah I say go for it and make videos, Im having a good old laugh at myself when I watch them back and Im enjoying doing it too. as for the quick shifter I think I explaind in my first video of how its the first time I have had and used one. To me it feels great when Im using it. the change from first to second can be a bit clunky at times but only if Im not in a good rev range as for the other gears they are all buttery smooth. I might do a video explaining my experience with this QS and where I find the best performance is. so keep an eye out for that one.😉
@duckdoctor82 thanks for the support here and on the gram, I really appreciate it mate. 🤘 the CF moto 800 is a pretty good looking bike, what do you think of it?
Concidering buying a GS1300 but hesitant to hit the bush with it as its to nice of a bike to ruin on the trails. Seem a capable off road machine but bingin it up would be unavoidable
Understandable. So while I don’t want to damage my bike and do try to avoid doing so, I also bought this bike for me. And that means taking it where I want to and probably getting a few scratches along the way. It is a great bike and I love it but if you are always fretting over the value of it out on the trails and not doing things you would normally then maybe it wouldn’t suit you. But you should buy a bike for you and not for resale value or what others might think. Wear those battle scars with pride, especially on a GS. Every scratch and scrape is an adventure you had with your bike and a memory you won’t forget. Hope this helps with your decision. 😀 Thanks for the support 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
@@BavarianBloodhound1 Problem is a fire trail turns into a steep rutted out single trail very often. This limitation makes me steer away from the 1300. Even thought i would love to own one lol

Not sure if you have said in previous videos, but where do you reside? I use a Garmin Zumo XT2 that I swap amongst my bikes.

That’s fair enough mate. My next choice would be a T7. Comfy enough to do long trips but a beast off-road. Do you currently ride something?
