Thank you Spilo for taking the time to give me this coaching session. It really opened my eyes to a lot of things I didn't even consider. I actually feel like I have an impact in my Lucio games now, whereas before I often felt totally useless and aimless.
Just now seen this vid. I just now picked up Lucio. I have a long, long, long, way to go. I do Main Moira, and Zen. But I wanted to play Lucio. I tried and he's fun. That's the appeal to me. This video helped tons. Hope you have hit your goals.
Pretty sure I talked to this guy on Reddit when he asked for a vod review back when he tried switching to Ana. Did my best to give some advice from a Masters perspective, but ultimately I suggested he seek one-on-one coaching for a more effective experience. Glad to see he went this route and chose a good coach!
The reason that you knew dropped a rank or two is probably because you mostly know people who are diamond+ and everybody basically just got shifted towards gold 3 with the amount being based on how far away you were from that rank, so people who were in bronze/silver got a small boost to their sr while people who were in masters/gm all dropped a lot. But people in gold/plat stayed roughly the same for the most part.
I think everyone got pulled to the middle with the “reset.” I feel like all the higher levels dropped, but my mid silver ass got boosted to mid-gold with placements. So I’m always surprised when people say everyone dropped.
it should be half and half! they pushed everyone toward gold 3 bc that is supposed to be the average. there are hypothetically a similar number of ppl who got boosted as kicked down, but the people in higher ranks tend to be louder i think :3
Probably just because the only people who are talking about it, are the ones who dropped (negative associated emotion). All the ones who got boosted up, they don't have any complaints to talk about ^^ Same thing as how product/service reviews will oftentimes be negative by nature, because it's majorly people with a negative experiences who get out of their way to share their frustrations.
@@Real_MisterSir and people who spend more time and invest more energy into the game tend to be slightly higher ranked (although not necessarily) and thus are more passionate+more likely to want to voice their opinions
After placements I was lower, but after a few games after placements I got back to where I was. I was gaining something like 40-55% for winning and 15 for loosing.
@@rioriorio17this season has mega sucked for me, on main i'm like 14-2 or something and winning 20/losing anywhere from 40-60. it's awful. skill issue i guess?

I think they mentioned that they dropped so much in s8
No they dropped a lot in season 8, and then climbed a little higher in season 9
Imma book a coaching from you soon. No one has made me want coaching like you
