    Thanks Pastor Skip for another great teaching. I especially liked your comment about how God is a god of details. It brings to mind the intricate instructions God gave to Moses in building the tabernacle and speaks to the authenticity of the Bible itself. After all, if one were writing a book of fiction it’s unlikely they would go into such excruciating detail! Of course we know God is a god of details when we just consider the human body - the most complex structure in the known universe! Oh I forgot - we’re just the result of natural selection acting on random genetic mutations. Where are my rubber boots?!

    When you cut down the Seventh-day Adventist church in whatever episode it was that you recorded, I realized you’re possibly a false prophet you cut them down and didn’t back it up. If you want to follow the first day of the week like Constantine told you to do and follow an earthly man’s orders then you go right ahead but until then keep it preachin brother but make sure you’re not a false prophet!! Back up your words if you want to say something bad about the church denomination who loves the Lord and obeys all 10 Commandments not just nine.

      Read what Jesus said about the Sabbath, not what the Seventh Day Denomination teaches.

    • @nicoleschmidt2204
      @nicoleschmidt2204 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@heavenmetal1 it’s mentioned many many times in the Bible about the sabbath never once does it say it’s the first day of the week. If you investigate and do your homework, you would know that Constantine was an earthly man who wanted everybody to follow him to worship on Sunday. Do tell me what Jesus says about the first day of the week and do tell me what Jesus says the sabbath is it’s written all over in the Bible. Apparently you have nothing to back your words. There are 10 Commandments not nine. This has nothing to do with the Seventh-day Adventist church. Why don’t you read your Bible instead of being a false prophet.

    • @nicoleschmidt2204
      @nicoleschmidt2204 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@heavenmetal1 you need to read what Jesus says about the Sabbath. Or back your words up tell me what he says. The Bible confirms that the Sabbath is the seventh day of the week since creation. He rested the seventh day, not the first so you can continue to follow Constantine all you want but watch yourself. The devil is lurking behind you.

      I used to struggle with this, but in careful reading of the Bible I realized that Sabbath means rest, it doesn't mean the seventh day of the week. So following the Sabbath commandment means to rest in the Lord. In the Old testament God chose different days for the Jews to observe the Sabbath. Yes, he chose the general seventh day of the week.
      "Six days you shall work on the the seventh day you should stop working," Exodus 34:21
      However, God gave other days as Sabbath rest. Not just the seventh day of the week.
      “’So beginning with the fifteenth day of the seventh month, after you have gathered the crops of the land, celebrate the festival to the LORD for seven days; the first day is a day of sabbath rest, and the eighth day also is a day of sabbath rest. Leviticus 23:9
      If you look at all the Sabbaths given in the Bible, you realize Sabbath is a "time of rest". Not to be confused with seventh day of the week. It is a time of focusing on God and spending time with him. Many churches around the world are unable to worship in the open let alone Saturdays. China has an underground church and they worship when and where they can. The early Christians chose to fellowship on the 1st day of the week to remember the resurrection of Christ.(Acts 20:7) That's where Sunday comes from. So it's incorrect that worshipping on Sunday started with Constantine.
      Jesus made it clear that he is Lord of Sabbath. (Matthew 12:8) He was accused of working on Sabbath and yet, he called out the teachers who would circumcise a boy on the Sabbath. This is considered work and they weren't condemned for it. Therefore, they shouldn't condemn others. So we must be clear that honoring the 4th commandment means "time of rest" it does not mean seventh day of the week. In the New Testament all 10 commandments hang on the first two. “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” (Matthew 22:37-40)
