Hi, I wanted to consult about ¨the proline prowirl f 200¨ flow meter, which I think is the one that measures the quality of steam, I wanted to ask if its flowmeter can be connected to my Siemens S7-1200 PLC directly or in any case how could I connect it to my PLC? I will thank you for your answer!

Hi Pedro. Yes, it can be connected to your PLC. Here is an overall description from our Flow Product Manager: The Proline Prowirl F 200 is capable of detecting wet steam, and even directly measuring steam quality. Multiple output options are available including a standard analog 4-20 mA output, pulse output and frequency output. Any of these outputs can be in combination with a digital output such as HART, FOUNDATION Fieldbus, or PROFIBUS PA.

Is there any way to get the perameter for scada system Except PLC?

The steam quality parameter is available with the “wet steam measurement” application package during selection of Proline Prowirl F 200. If selected, the steam quality parameter can be transferred via 4-20mA value or HART variable.

@@endresshauser i want to use Pulse.. There are two point 3(+) & 4(-).. I used 24 as It's passive and from (-) i connect to PlC.. Plc using as NPN.. Sink.. But still no pulse.. Can you tell me what's my fault here.. Thanks
