@@heathernielsen5605 I wish! I was not able to get it to work for iPads. I then found an Amazon Support Representative who said the functionality is not available. I hope they change it soon. A less-than-ideal work around is to log into your Audible account on the kid's iPads. Then they can play audiobooks from the Audible app.
This would have been really helpful to know in the video cause I tried for about an hour to get it to work in iOS. Someone needs to talk about how Amazon is trying to hard to own us and our Children’s minds. Mind blown that there isn’t a good option out there for monitoring kids audio books

Thank you for watching. Amazon says to wait up to 30 minutes before content appears. I waited... and waited, and nothing showed up. After speaking to a Amazon customer service rep, I found out that the iOS Amazon Kids app doesn't support Audible titles. It only works on Amazon Fire Tablets (gen 7 and higher). I'm sorry for the confusion. I'll be updating this video and description to make it clear that, for the time being, iOS won't work.

Amazon are seriously missing a trick with ios and android lack of support for audiobooks. not only can the kids plus app not play shared audible content, it cant even play kids plus audiobooks. i was prepared to subscribe to kids plus just to share content which I also had to buy or use credits for on audible, but even paying for kids plus doesn't yield a solution. The movie selection on kids plus is also terrible. cancelled promptly after 2 hours of fiddling and research. God help any non-techies!
That's correct. A workaround to share audiobooks with them is to login to your account on their phone. This seems to work, but gives them access to your full library which, in some situations, in not ideal.

Household isn't in my amazon menu when I click on name. They have altered the menu. I am working on a pc, maybe that makes a difference. I shared my new book by forwarding link from my android. I used the 3 dots. You are correct in saying that anazon doesn't make it easy. Thanks for the video.
@@boydhanel9467 No worries. I appreciate you digging into it. It was a tricky setup. I went through all of it to help my kids out only to realize it wouldn't work with their iPads. I had to contact Amazon to get a concrete answer and they confirmed it did not work for iPads at this time. It's probably time to make a new video and update it for 2023. Thanks for the input!
This process will only work for Amazon Fire Tablets (gen 7 and higher). The iOS Amazon Kids app does not support Audible titles at this time.

I just did this and then found out it doesn’t allow me to share music or audiobooks with a kids+ account.

Good video, but you didn't go far enough, as in how my wife on an android phone can access the audiobook. Or is it even possible? Frustrated.
