Making an embroidery mockup using adobe photoshop

I am using screencast to create this content. I took a few pictures of girl shirts I got in that I will be adding actual stitch out but on T-shirt fabric material so the shirts can be saved for actual orders. These are not images of non stitch these are of actual work just background removed and brighten to pop. Shirts are actually bright white, this unicorn image is also dark gray. You can see the images when they are being uploaded into photoshop. If your tech savvy and have so much background images floating onto your computer it can save on space in the craft room.

Do you need to stitch out in order to do a mock-up?

You don't have to but the stitching in the embrilliance software looks different. It looks more wider on software than the stitch out.
