    That’s the coolest falcon ever how fast is he? Does he eat all the feathers? Your truck is so clean 🧼

      Baz is quite the falcon! I think I remember us clocking him at around 150+ mph on one of his dives using the GPS. He does eat the majority of the feathers! ~Sean

    Is it legal here in America to have a falcon?

    • @k9thundra
      @k9thundra ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There's a special falconer license, to get that licence you have to go through the training program and be paired with a master falconer who will become your mentor.

      In most states I believe it is a general or master falconer

    Great footage. I always heard gyrs were a pain in the ass to train because they didn't like to go up high or really stoop, that they just chased like a saker. But batz looks perfect the way he nailed that duck, maybe the little peregrine blood he has is making the difference.

      Thanks Everett! It was my first time filming Falcons so the whole training experience was completely new to me. It was quite the tedious process building Baz's skills up enough to finally nail a wild duck at the end. Wish I would have kept track of how many days we failed our mission lol :) ~Sean

      Gyrs will speck out if trained to do so. My jerkins will climb to 1,000 feet in about 2 minutes. They come down much faster! Truely amazing.

    Is it legal in California to fly a bird of prey to a 'baggie'? You know? That pigeon with a few tail feathers removed to make it easier for the falcon? That legit where you are?

    • @ericsteinhauer3991
      @ericsteinhauer3991 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No! It’s a first class felony in the land of libtards. All falconers are outlaws and pirates

      Yeah that's what I've been told by some of the falconers over there.

      Bagging is a big part of falconry, and since our regulations were written mainly by falconers, they know how important bagging is. It's no different than using live bait when fishing.
