    That moment when you start remembering those moments when you were in her place! (The fear of public Speaking, not being able to communicate clearly, awkward and strange feelings at family functions, feeling inferior in front of extroverts, shakey hands, sweating and avoiding social gatherings and even if one attends Kinda sabotaging them.. then suffering and blaming your own self!! Huh..) It's not a personal problem, it's an issue that needs to be resolved

    In my 10 class I used to get panic atttacks , I used to be well prepared for tommorow exam but then I also fear of failing in exam but in all this my mother was very supportive to me and I got over this with her help and scored 92 % percent in boards love you Mom and I am so blessed to have you in my life 😊 Edit - Again I am suffering with tuberculosis, ..and this time I have my jee exam ( as second dropper) .. hi again here went through neck surgery due to this in feb ab bhi dikkat rehti hai getting up state government colleges..

    Anxiety and depression are literally flipping sides of a coin. The panic attacks/episodes were portrayed so realistically, someone who hasn't experienced it can never fathom what it really feels like, because on the surface, the sufferer looks perfectly fine. Not to mention the physical effects of it all, starting with palpitations and dizziness, going as far as ulcers in the long run, I don't even know how people say ''oh it is JUST anxiety''. And yes, this is coming from someone who has been dealing with anxiety disorders since class 4

      @@Simranbatra1 ​Take action to enjoy life. Avoid watching negative social media and shows. If needed visit a psychologist. To feel better reduce negative thoughts with a simple practice. Your breath is directly related to your mind [brain] causing negative thoughts-anxiety. For a healthier life sit on a chair, back straight, eyes closed and observe the sensations of your incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for around 5-10-15 minutes or more. Don’t fight your thoughts. Slowly the mind will relax. No deep breathing needed. Day or night, when taking a walk, when reading, on the phone, before sleep etc sit or lie down and observe your breath. Like me, make this a lifetime daily habit to have a good life. Avoid constipation as it affects the mind instantly. Best wishes Shyaaam Sir. -Counsellor.

      @@Simranbatra1 ​If physical health is affected visit a psychologist. In life there are only 2 problems. Mind and body. Take charge of this and life is fun. Since many years I have made it a habit to observe my breath sensations even during my normal activities with eyes open or closed and I am feeling relaxed and healthy. Very simple. No deep breathing needed. Never do meditation with expectations. Meditation happens to you from within if done sincerely. Read my msg and do the practice regularly to develop your mental muscles.       @@shyaaammeneen63 both are suffering actually was taking pills for sleeping earlier it was too high named as zolfresh10mg or 30mg now then talked to my doctor they gave 2mg petril and taking only but it affects my memory loss and was frustrated dont like anything in this world not my parents also all are selfish 😔😕

    Multiple anxiety and panick attacks are the scariest thing ever, we feel so much hopelessness that it feels it easy to give up the life than to survive another episode. We feel so alone in a scariest place that nobody can imagine😢

      Nausheen Abidi, Speak to a counsellor. You will be fine. To feel relaxed sit on a chair or lie down on the bed, eyes closed and observe the sensations of your incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for 5-10-15 minutes or more. Don’t fight your thoughts. With daily practice the mind will relax. No deep breathing needed. Observe your breath sensations before sleep, in school, when reading, etc. Avoid watching negative social media. You will be ok. Best wishes--Counsellor.

      Vaiga A nu, ​Take action to enjoy life. Avoid watching negative social media and shows. If needed visit a psychologist. To feel better reduce negative thoughts with a simple practice. Your breath is directly related to your mind [brain] causing negative thoughts-anxiety. For a healthier life sit on a chair, back straight, eyes closed and observe the sensations of your incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for around 5-10-15 minutes or more. Don’t fight your thoughts. Slowly the mind will relax. No deep breathing needed.     A person suffering from anxiety for past 12 years, I could relate so much. Though I have achieved so much, still the fear of future and imagining the worst case scenario, takes a toll on my health. I have tried to calm myself all by myself, without any help and it did help me a lot. But now since past 1 year, the pressure of getting married is bringing back my anxiety attacks once again. My mother is emotionally blackmailing me, my sisters are teasing me, but no one understands that I don't want to get married. I just don't, I'm not ready mentally. All my achievements seem to be futile. The moment anyone says that I'm crossing the right age to get married, it gives me sleepless nights, breathlessness, shivering and sweaty hands. I listen to songs, watch movies to get that momentary calmness. I want to go on a trip but the moment I say my mom mentions about marriage. I am unable to control my anger and have hurt myself several times, there are scars and injuries in my body which I have caused by myself. At times I feel like killing myself as this might end all the problems, but then I control myself from this urge. I just want to leave everything and go far away. This world is just not worth living. Self help won't help much it the people around you, your family and friends don't understand your mental status. I can't even share my problems because then I receive lectures that I'm overthinking and speculating things. I don't want to share with my mom because she doesn't keep it to herself. I mentally and physically exhausted. I have taken up many occupations and courses to keep myself distracted but there comes a time where anxiety hits in out of nowhere. I often faint. I try to talk to people to feel normal, I start talking a lot, and then suddenly I become quiet. People think that I'm an attention seeker. There are judgements without realising what I'm going through. Since no one understands, I try to hold onto my emotions and often break down when I'm alone, because no point in sharing with anyone.
    P. S.: I just wanted to rant out my emotions. You can ignore this comment but I request, don't make fun or pass any negative or sarcastic comment. And I don't want any lecture on *"get married then you'll be fine. It's just the hormones"* .. I'm sick and tired of these advices!

      just normal advice ,listen if you can, try to join some meditation group or monastries , you can get help from these spiritual things ,dont take it otherwise please these things may seem too small but they can really bring enormous positive effect . there is no problem in trying , if you can think about giving it a try. i believe they are the only ones who can get you the mental peace you want. if you think about doing it dont do it by yourself , find some teacher or monk. you need to take help of these people in order to get well sooner

    I can actually feel the pain, I just used to scroll down ignoring this video as it clearly says from thumbnail that it says about anxiety but now feeling so relieved after watching this. Even I am an anxiety patient but don't feel ashamed and I have started speaking my heart out to my mom.

    I isolated or maybe wasted 4 years of school life. I hated myself to that extent, I'm still recovering but . I want to say that this is not just for sake of being or to pretend, I want all of you to see yourself as a child. And a child shouldn't hate herself, shouldn't try to harm or kill herself or even think about doing it. I LOVE YOU, THAT'S IT.

    Theres one tip I've learnt from anxiety and depression. Never force yourself to do something like going out or talking to people if you're anxious or depressed .Just be by yourself for some time till the feeling is better

      Same I was suffering form 2019 till 2020 ufff it was very hard to deal it ever sec of the day my head was filled with overthinking ,low confidence ,fear of everything ,suicidal thoughts ,fear of death, irregular sleep ,forgetting thing ,and mostly irritation with sharp sounds and many more but I took this as a challange not as a mental health i faced all this what I used to b scared of,I have haved changed my habits ,n healthy died helped me allot see u know ur body very well more then a doctor so y guys have to do a experiment like how to deal with it what makes u happy if u want help to overcome it or to learn to manage it ,I know how hard it is to live with an anxiety .god bless u all

    My Anxiety made me have thousands of negative thoughts and I felt as if I'm caged in my own fears. My faith in possibilities started diminishing. 9 months of Quarantine, alot of exercising, good food and lots of love from my family, and I'm finally able to breathe in peace.
    Anxiety is like an invisible choker around the neck. It pulls you back everytime you want to move away from it. I started accepting that I feared something, started facing them, started pushing boundaries. I don't know if I'll ever be fully cured. But if I can walk ahead, so can you ❤️❤️

    When something not goes according to me or against me...i get panic attacks..when people see me at that situation of being panic over small things they make fun of me...i have been to all the stages of anxiety and still going through...my parents thinks that this is because of my phone.. but this video gave me little strength to overcome my problem and I hope that i will be able to overcome this...

      Social media does play a role. If possible try staying away frm it by deleting the apps. Notice if there a change and u find mental peace.
      Try yoga chanting mantras(vibrations help) breathing exercises or physical activities
      Write letters to clear of your mind. It's okay if that person dosent read it.
      Have healthy meals. Small meals 5-6 times a day. Please take care of your health. I failed to do so cz of my anxiety and now I'm suffering.
      I hope for u to heal soon. I care for you. You will overcome this the fact you accepted your issues is already a sign of courage and hope.
      We all will find happiness. You never walk alone.
      I hope for your joy and health. Please take care. Your have hope. We have hope

    As a psychologist I write here why anxiety occurs and what is its treatment.
    Cause anxiety by thinking too much, being alone and fighting with your thoughts, treat this disorder by involving yourself in things that interest you, socialize, avoid social media apps and focus on your blessings, successes. Pay more attention to and avoid negative thinking.

    I also felt anxiety attacks but later I realise we dissconnect ourself from everything... For self care to really make condition less worse I eat good food with feel, communicate around the people and daily exercise, meditation really helped out. I wish who is getting through this anxiety should do these thing everyday.. I hope you (reader) get well soon😊

    The anxiety attack happened with me when I was in a new year party...like my heartbeat got really fast after seeing so many people. And I was feeling like I am about to cry and so this happened 🙂 like I literally got tears in my eyes but my parents couldn't understand why I started crying in middle of party, and they got really angry with me. But I still don't why this happens with me whenever I see lot of people like giving a speech, also I feel the same.

    Very well made film on this argument, I am looking from Europe. My now 23 old son went through a similar turmoil we noticed it in 2021 during Covid period because he said things like he was not worth, he was not good for nothing and the worst he said was that life was not worth to be lived for him any longer and he wanted to end it up. Fortunatly he spoke out what he was feeling, I was shocked and contacted immediate our doctor who gave me the name of a psycologist for young adults. It took then nearly 3 months but finally my son decided to get help. He is now in the 3. year of doctor frequentation and he is getting better. It is very important to understand your child and get help if needed. Namaskaram from Italy.

    2 weeks before i was suffering from too much anxiety and angryness and because of that i scratched my own face and then for 2 weeks i can't go outside because of the scratching marks on my face .     I am only only 15 years old girl. I can feel her very well because I also had these days.
    It's only been a few days since I got rid of those days. In my family, there had some problems .My father scolded me so bad . He never scolded me like that .I became traumatized and I got anxiety .I became so sad . Everyone said that "I was a good girl , now I changed a lot" .I was afraid to tell anyone that I feel sad and every night I will cry in my bedroom .Luckily, my cousins were here and they talked to me .I told them everything what I am feeling .They said its okay to feel like that because they also went through time like these .But one night, I cried so hard and I my parents ask me what happened .I told them everything .They became worried but they understood me .They told me not to worry and said "I am always with you" .It was like heaven to me because my problem was to talk with my parents and it helped me very well .
    Now I am completely okay .I want to write more but I think this fine .Sorry for my grammar mistakes .
    As I was anxiety person, to be well is to talk to someone about this (who you love the most) .Never feel shame or stupid questions like "log kya kehange" .Its common to happen .Don't worry .
    Be happy. If its not today, then tomorrow.

    I can feel this...     Even my parents think that I have acidity when I tell about my anxiety and depression...and the funniest part is even doctor prescribed me with acidity tablets.
    I am just tired of everything..even I can't concentrate on my hobbies, feeling scared while eating food, scared of talking even with people I know...atleast my parents wouldn't allow me to go out for some time to breathe fresh air...its like I am grounded in my house for 21 years for no reason.
    I am scared of my future because of my past. Deep down I feel like I am burden to everyone around me.
