We do without a lkt of life conveniences, that causes us to deoend on God to come through for us, and he does! Absolutely. Thsnk God almighty, the storm will pass by, keep the faith, hevis faithfuk that called you❤

In our church we sing hymns every Sunday. Is fast becoming a lost art because of the contemporaries, which has its place, but hymns are the best. They are Christ centered. Right now I am doing the Bulletins and are uploading the hymns for tomorrow. God bless everyone who listens to this beautiful hymn
I would love to be able to play the piano like the person in this video God surely blessed them with talent, it's beautiful and the singing also, I love this hymn.
In the dark of the midnight have I oft hid my face, While the storm howls above me, and there's no hiding place. 'Mid the crash of the thunder, Precious Lord, hear my cry, Keep me safe till the storm passes by. Refrain: Till the storm passes over, till the thunder sounds no more, Till the clouds roll forever from the sky; Hold me fast, let me stand in the hollow of Thy hand, Keep me safe till the storm passes by. Many times Satan whispered, "There is no need to try, For there's no end of sorrow, there's no hope by and by" But I know Thou art with me, and tomorrow I'll rise Where the storms never darken the skies. (Refrain) When the long night has ended and the storms come no more, Let me stand in Thy presence on the bright peaceful shore; In that land where the tempest, never comes, Lord, may I Dwell with Thee when the storm passes by. (Refrain)
In the dark of the midnight, Have I oft hid my face; While the storm howls above me, And there's no hiding place; 'Mid the crash of the thunder, Precious Lord, hear my cry; "Keep me safe 'til the storm passes by." 'Til the storm passes over, 'Til the thunder sounds no more; 'Til the clouds roll forever from the sky, Hold me fast, let me stand, In the hollow of Thy hand; Keep me safe 'til the storm passes by. Oh how precious when you are just singing and we can understand the words. Can the sound of your instruments we lowered? Love listening to your service. The words to songs fill me with the Holy spirit!! Thank you!!
so nice to hear a tenor who can sing on note and not false as its happening today in the interdominational churches singing hillsong and Bethal churches songs,,those people sing so false
The Rejoice Hymnal, which is a great one! So is The Hymnal for Worship and Celebration, which is what my church uses. And I agree, I too have been very blessed by their many great recordings of their congregational singing! It would be great if more churches would share their congregational singing online like this, as it's become unfortunately common to abandon theologically rich, traditional hymns in favor of the new hip contemporary music. (To be fair, some people really enjoy the contemporary style and more power to them, I suppose, if they find that's a way that they can meaningfully worship, but I find that so many love the traditional style music!) They (Southwest) remind me a lot of my own church (also a mid-size IFB church) especially in the sense that they have a vibrant music ministry and you can tell that music is a central and joyful part of how they worship!
@@juneq9418 this is Southwest Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. We live-stream every service and next Sunday is our friend day! Hope this helps!
This congregation sings like a choir. They put their all in it. Praise God.
What a wonderful church! Praise God for so inspiring so many people to be good.

He's my example too as a songleader. This is where I come to learn a new hymn
Such a blessing to hear hymns being sung by a congregation. Missing element in so many churches today.

What a beautiful hymn this is. Thank you Daniel Baptist for sharing!
Wonderful singing. I felt the Lord throughout that song. Beautiful, and so full of meaning. I hope this church is still singing like this in 2024.
In the dark of the midnight have I oft hid my face,
While the storm howls above me, and there's no hiding place.
'Mid the crash of the thunder, Precious Lord, hear my cry,
Keep me safe till the storm passes by.

Till the clouds roll forever from the sky;
Hold me fast, let me stand in the hollow of Thy hand,
Keep me safe till the storm passes by.

But I know Thou art with me, and tomorrow I'll rise
Where the storms never darken the skies.

When the long night has ended and the storms come no more,
Let me stand in Thy presence on the bright peaceful shore;
In that land where the tempest, never comes, Lord, may I
Dwell with Thee when the storm passes by.
(Refrain)
There are many Storms in our lives... Only God has the answers!!!
Amen
This is real music!!! So many churches have done away with this!
In the dark of the midnight,
Have I oft hid my face;
While the storm howls above me,
And there's no hiding place;
'Mid the crash of the thunder,
Precious Lord, hear my cry;
"Keep me safe 'til the storm passes by."
'Til the storm passes over,
'Til the thunder sounds no more;
'Til the clouds roll forever from the sky,
Hold me fast, let me stand,
In the hollow of Thy hand;
Keep me safe 'til the storm passes by.
Many times Satan whispers,
"There is no need to try;
For there's no end of sorrow,
There's no hope by and by";
But I know Thou art with me,
And tomorrow I'll rise;
Where the storms never darken the skies.
'Til the storm passes over,
'Til the thunder sounds no more;
'Til the clouds roll forever from the sky,
Hold me fast, let me stand,
In the hollow of Thy hand;
Keep me safe 'til the storm passes by.
When the long night has ended,
And the storms come no more,
Let me stand in Thy presence.
On that bright, peaceful shore.
In that land where the tempest
Never comes, Lord may I
Dwell with Thee when the storm passes by.
'Til the storm passes over,
'Til the thunder sounds no more;
'Til the clouds roll forever from the sky,
Hold me fast, let me stand,
In the hollow of Thy hand;
Keep me safe 'til the storm passes by.
Hold me fast, Let me stand,
In the hollow of Thy hand;
Keep me safe 'til the storm passes by.
'Til the storm passes by.

Lately I have developed a craving to hear old hymns. I must be getting old. (lol)
Wow, I was just humming this at work tonight.

Amazing hymn and beautiful words

The pianos need to be louder then most because you have so many people singing. The musicians need to give guidance to the singers.
Amen!

Danial....Was that you in the background around half way?
Just curious here, are the young men not allowed to have beards? I notice they are all clean shaven
I’m not sure on the rules of the college. Probably, since a lot of bible colleges have that rule.
The men that attend Heartland are not allowed to have beards. They can have a mustache though- if they are able to grow one lol
This looks decent and Godly. I love the clean shaven look.
