Awww the streaks end but # of orders you already received is great!! And good to see some large ones! That fireworks celebration set looks really cool!
Yes - a bit unfortunate, and it may be a long time before I go over 2 months straight with at least one order a day! Eventually, I expect that to be more the norm than not though. Of course, maybe that is now! As of writing (A bit after 1AM here) I have no orders yet for the 8th, but had 3 for the 7th. So, i will take that for now! Last year, I had 105 orders in January, though December of 2023 had 114, and Dec of '24 had only 81. BUT - the money coming in was pretty similar, so, all in all, it was not a bad month!
@DOTUBricks sounds like it is not a bad month for Dec. Good that you can track records of your sale quantity and sales. And day without order can be a day to catch up for sorting and uploading and or packing orders too!
Ahhh yes, I surely could have! But, luckily they came off pretty easily without that. I have to be honest, I am not even sure there is a blowdryer in the house!
how i wish the order per day still continues but i think the better is more orders coming on other days! a lot of technic pins being sorted and lot still need to be sorted. Love the colorful orders too, who knows what they are building hihi! It is a great on you get from the dirt brickster. For me is the favorite month of the year, it is not lego related but you can know something form your subscribers.
@@DOTUBricks i know too and i always feel happy when i am about to hear you get orders everyday in your vlog! one of i always looking forward as i want to see always what people buy form your store
Does Bricklink determine the pricing? Reason I ask is that I find that most of the new standard pieces on Bricklink are more expensive than the Lego pick a brick website.
No, not as a platform, though, the users on Bricklink collectively determine pricing. And yes, direct from Lego will almost always be cheaper. Have you heard about some of the delivery times for the non-bestseller parts? I have friends in the LUG who are still waiting for orders from October and November and December. There will be an element of people that do not know about that system as well. Plus, you cannot get the full breadth of parts that you can on Bricklink. Some parts are "IP-blocked" and some just never make it to online PAB. Also, in order to provide a service, the various BL sellers need to be able to charge enough to make some money. So, you will pay for some convenience, and speed over the online PAB orders. Interestingly, if you look enough, you will start to find a few parts that are actually cheaper on Bricklink that through online PAB. It is not the norm though, but it can happen. Just like how some parts end up being more expensive in used condition than new condition.
So, I would hazard a guess, if you had placed them with a seller on Bricklink, you almost certainly would have the parts already! Certainly from me, if you live in the US, you would have waited Maybe a week. Pros and cons there!

You could use a blow dryer to help get the stickers off.

@DOTUBricks Yes, I place most orders on BrickLink.
