    Also good tip is to not overdo the layering. Otherwise the sound will become messy. I learned this the hard way.

      Absolutely! The fewer layers you can use to get the sound you want, the better

    I think this was a really interesting video!
    Useful? Maybe to someone with more experience than myself. For me, I'm still new to all this so I learn more from your in depth tutorials. But this short was really interesting like I said, and it gave me a better idea of what I COULD do once I get better 😄
    10/10 Good vid!

    All good, but (with the greatest respect) if a track has to be tarted up with ear candy to make it sell/good/popular etc, then maybe we should focus on making good songs, not making good ear candy.
    Nobody ever said..."wow I love this track, the ear candy is awesome "
    It's either a good track or not, and all the aural fairy dust won't save it. (well maybe it will, but it's just dumbing down music)

      factual

    • @neon4635
      @neon4635 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I dont think you understand the point of ear candy. It's not there to make a bad song good. It's there to make a great song even better. Writing an EDM song well is important but it doesnt matter how good the melody, chords, and bassline are if the drop is weak, drums are empty, and the mix is shit.

      @@neon4635 true but I think he was talking about the video, his melody wasn't very good.

    EDM must die. Plesse guys just start practising the guitar

    • @ARNAR.

      Guitar must die. All jokes aside, why should someone who makes EDM practice guitar instead? It’s two wildly different things. To me making EDM is way more fun than playing guitar, since there are no limitations when it comes to sound design and the stuff you can make. Also I know of many EDM producers who play guitar and use it in their tracks.
