@@bananakingdom3781 I feel there's no saving that place, with the water damage that's already there, though I havnt seen how bad it is in person, but from seeing the tree house they built I think they could make a bitchin shop
I can't believe how awesome this is going to be! That took some serious time to get that steering figured out! Would've taken me years to build something like this! And you'll have it done in a month!
Ethan's fabrication skills are absolutely insane 🔥🔥. Great editing by Edwin as always! Keep it up guys! Consistently the best channel on TH-cam. P.S. Definitely gonna cop a beanie those are FIRE
Love how you take the time to figure things out, assess and prototype. So many channels these days just gloss over the more tedious elements of a build and that tends to give the impression that everything just went together perfectly without issues. While that may be fun to watch in a way, it isn't representative of how the process works. Great content guys, loving the build!
Wow, your ability to visualize, engineer and fabricate is just other worldly. You guys are such an amazing team. I enjoy your interaction, video/audio production, location, prettily much everything you guys do and come up with. Thanks guys; you are both awesome!!
always impressed with your ingenuity to cut splines. its hard when you dont have the right tools. the way you did it, is almost how splines are actually cut. lol
Haha I love the slow motion shot of the leaking shop roof, my shop leaks too, one of the drips works out good though it drips into my CNC plasma water table 😂 Nice work guys. It’s definitely a more complicated build but like always you guys seem to figure it out. Take care
Nice work guys!!! I love what you are doing, the complexity of your builds, challenging yourselves more with every build. I anticipate every new video.
I think the custom-bent, hollow-tube frame builds are the most impressive, beautiful things you guys produce. The mods are cool but the full builds are better.
Was that one of you guys playing trumpet over the sound track? Sounded pretty cool! You guys amaze me how you work through problems and make things work!
Love the innovation you guy's use with what you have on hand. Engineering as you go. Good minds and you use them to get things done. Kind of like farmer's have to do to get a job done. You have better equipment though. Keep doing what you're doing. We enjoy every step!
Great job on the steering and planning for bump steer. The system you created is basically the same as a lot of early Nissan trucks and probably anything with a steering box and independent front suspension. With the quad suspension and motor this thing is going be fast as hell.
Awesome job so far! Looking forward to seeing what else your imagination can dream up, very impressed with the fabrication, reminds me of the bike build shows, but with more fabrication, and less drama, and also a completely improvised build, fun to watch!
Props to you guys at Grind Hard for your ability to build suspense in the projects. Watching this one intently from the beginning. Can't wait for the next video. Keep up the awesome work!
I am completely in love with your editing style and I love what you do and how you do that... That's my dream... Live where you live and do what you do... Guys you're really cool!! Keep going!!
The way I see it you guys are literally engineering your own vehicle from scratch many car companies take years planning and you guys are just killing it
Nice Bell Crank design up front, well done looks solid AF. Love the work you all do, I feel right at home watching your videos, almost like I was there watching in person. Kinda creepy if ya think about it but at the same time if it was broke we fixed it any way we could. 👏👍👊😎
Watching the front end move behind that X brace is honestly beautiful dude. I'm sorry you lost your footage!!!! There's a lot of storage + file recovery utilities out there you might wanna look into. You probably already know this but in case you don't, data is still there until it's overwritten (maybe that's what happened hahaha) so.. it's recoverable even if it's not accessible.
Well done, have been looking forward to how you were going to engineer the steering. Next thing I'm intrigued to see you tackle is the gear shifter. On a side note to the 21 people at the time of me watching this that gave it the thumbs down, why are you even here?
I click on a lot of TH-camrs videos and I end up scheming through their whole video because they are boring but when I watch you guys videos I literally watch the whole thing start to finish!!
That's a neat-o roller you got for the belt sander! My work has something similar for coping tubes for Airplane fuselages. Pretty quick when you get the hang of it.
Shortening the rod between the two pivot arms should increase the ackerman, if that's what you wanted to do. That's how the old steering box cars used to get ackerman - the pitman arm and idler arm weren't quite parallel even with the wheel centered, they were both either angled out a touch or angled in depending on whether your knuckle runs a front or rear steering arm.
Also since you guys are doing splines and I was a toolmaker... Take the 3 jaw on the lathe off its mounting plate Make a mounting plate that sandwiches between the chuck and it's mounting plate Make a ring of holes around the perimeter of said plate and lay them out in divisions convenient for the splines you regularly use Make a small pin mounted to the lathe body that lines up with the ring of holes Make the splines the same way you just did, only you can use the pin and ring of holes to locate the chuck at accurate divisions to machine your splines Nowadays I'm a draftsman, so if you can get some measurements of the back of the chuck where it mounts to that plate to me I can draw it up for you 👍
I was impressed when you fit 10lbs of junk into a 5lb bag on your other builds; then, you decided to fit 20lbs into 5lb bag. Very impressive!
Always very professional production, stands out from most TH-cam offerings.
Yeah, you can really tell Edwin has a background in video production. :)
The next "build' you guys do needs to be a new shop, you guys deserve it
I wouldn't trade that property for anything in the world. A brand new shop at the same place would be dope though.
@@hondacota4rt a series of them renovating the old one would be sick
I agree with all three of you.
No way their garage looks like most of ours .it's part of the attraction ,I'd never leave the goldmine

You should make an acrylic guard for the drive train so that you can see all the moving parts
Or polycarbonate apparently
Lexan would be cool
Heat form it so it is one solid upside down U SHAPE Tunnel
Cool but wouldnt take the abuse. If he wants to slide over a rock itd crack and if a driveshaft broke. Itd crack and possibly break his leg

DAM DUDE your FAB skills had come a long way! good job !!
Ethan said flat bed it. Now you guys gotta build a flat bed recovery cart!!
Call it the crispy taco😅
With a diesel motor
Wow your machining work and mechanic skills are impressive, I can't wait to see this build finished but watch you build it is fascinating!
Always look forward to receiving upload notifications from you all!

Man, the intro riff on that first tune SLAPS
You guys are out doing yourself on the fabrication and design on this build. Outstanding job guys.
that engine could run my 2006 toyota corolla 😂😂😂 y'all are legendary. keep up the amazing work guys. proud subscriber!!!
Your Guy's builds are works of art! So much fabrication skill
The spline cutting trial and error is exactly the kind of stuff that keeps we watching. Pretty cool guys.
Such a cool channel. One really good fabricator and one really skilled camera guy to capture everything perfectly
I'm ready for you guys to build a full size buggy , with all the cool tricks y'all have learned .
It's really cool to go back and watch all the build vids , the time and effort is impressive plus the effort to make the video's themselves !!
Hello from France guys ☺️🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷
Keep up the good work and I really love your vids. This Jeep is gonna be crazy 🤪.

This beast is crazily well engineered, love it

Nice job carving out your own splines! Very cool
My friend you have a brilliant mind for making things and making them work !
Your fab work amazes me every time. I love the new tunes. You guys deserve a nice new workshop that doesnt rain inside.
I love that first song! Great progress guys! This has to be one of my favorite projects on youtube !
Love how you guys are taking your time with the fab work. This thing is going to be an absolute beast
Guy builds a rotating treehouse, but his shop leaks when it rains lol.

Iam so glad you guys finally got to making a 4x4 one it's looking good guys keep it up
I wish I could trip with you guys someday. It seems like it be a hell of a time. Beautiful minds and music.
you guys rock best youtube channel!!!!! i wait every friday for your vids to come out
beats antique vibes. I dig it
I'm so glad you grabbed the North Idaho Spline Cutter 2.5. I was going to suggest that if you didn't figure it out on your own.

Edwin, I'm constantly whistling that trumpet piece. It's awesome. This build is great! I'd love to see GHPC at the Indy 500 this May.
Looking great so far!
Watching your vids gives me motivation to finish my projects.
In high power transmission, spline connections are essential. You did that well, Ethan! And you didn't have to call in the"Spline Squad".
Quality episode today, I like the new filming and editing style

Y'all have all them woods, why don't you make some trails through them?
They do have a track
But its just a little track around the yard, I was meaning actual trails so they didn't have to take it somewhere
LOOKING REALLY GOOD , CANT WAIT !

Take the 3 jaw on the lathe off its mounting plate
Make a mounting plate that sandwiches between the chuck and it's mounting plate
Make a ring of holes around the perimeter of said plate and lay them out in divisions convenient for the splines you regularly use
Make a small pin mounted to the lathe body that lines up with the ring of holes
