I played eight games last night (after update) every game had a carrier and I’ll tell you they ruled the game. I was even in the Rochester with the aa consumable and I was still wrecked. The carriers all came top of the leaderboard. Now tell me that’s balanced. CV are going to destroy this game.
I hate this ship because almost all my planes were destroyed by it when I used a Kaga ship or the developer reduced the durability of my fighter planes
Ive tried de 7 provincièn in an ai match, i realized it takes a bit of practice to get the hang of the airstrike. Ive also noticed that she is more of a defence/ eara deny ship not realy a close and personal ship. AA is just like the friesland it hit planes hard. Her main batteries mweh, for dual purpose guns they turn way to slow. And her armor is paper thin. Dont look for trouble, because it wil be over on the blink of an eye. Overal the 7 provincièn is a beautyfull build ship, but her strengths lay in the sirstrikes and aa. Ive baught her since she is dutch (like me) and there are not that many of her yet. But i do like the commander, karel makes her abilities alot more potent when fully upgraded.
I have to disagree Aaron. It's not a gimmick it's a situational tactic. It's not designed to be used as a primary means of damage. Think of it like most BS torps. They are useless in most battles. But every once in a while you'll be I a situation where they are effective. Having them on a BS doesn't make the BS a gimmick ship. I see these bombs as a way to counter bow in creeping BS. Those players that go 1/4 speed bow in on ships that have 6 or more front firing guns. This feature will almost force that player to have to play somewhat differently. I also see this as a good way to get that camping dpm cruiser that wants to just sit behind an island and spam HE the whole match. That player will now have to contend with being able to be hit. And will need to change that type of game play. If you look at it like that. A situational tactic. And don't look at it as a primary way to do damage. I think you can appreciate the concept. But so far In most of these early release videos I'm watching. Every one using this ship wants to use them against open water ships as a primary damage shot. And then complain how because of the long prep time and limited 11k range it's a gimmick. I just don't think those player are using that tool in the proper way. Like I said. Think of it like torps on a BS. May go a whole game without being able to use it. But you wouldn't call that BS a gimmick ship
Yeah but you're giving up so much just to have that perk and if it's only situational...whats the point. They should increase the area of the bomb drop to give it a touch more effectiveness

From what I've seen the ship has both AP and HE. It still has a normal concealment. It still has normal size main guns with normal reload. And it looks like the only difference to me is instead of putting 6,8, or 10 torps of 8 to 11km. You get this bomber. People are saying the 13 or so sec lead time at 11km makes the bombs unusable. But I bet most 11km torps from a cruiser take just as long to go those 11km. I don't see what you give up. Can you explain?
It shouldn't be in the game, it didn't enter service till the fiftys and a cruiser with airstrike come on. The Devs kep trying to mess the game up, all the make believe ships they keep putting out, it just imbalances the game, keep it real.

Ive seen Xarkun do pretty well with it in a few matches as he has experience with the airstrikes on pc, but generally people have been doing okay in it or worse ... its very situational the way it is now. They crippled it in to many areas and the things that are actually good cant compensate for the bad parts.
CV's are beyond broken. It's criminal how bad it is now. Over under nerf for both Dutch and CV's under 7 days ... its garbage ... CV's more than anything... Game isn't balanced or enjoyable now .... Great job WG...

Primary gimmick for this ship is that the airstrikes are very precise. The normal airstrikes have a fair bit larger reticle
