we just got news on the scarlet and violet games a week ago, and we’re getting stadium 1 and 2 on switch so I don’t know why they’d be mad, and also we got the release date of botw 2 so I feel like those two fandoms should just shut up. I think they should make the "Magolor mode" replace the Ex Mode and have some of the Ex Mode features (e.g. less health) be an optional difficulty like with Wild Mode in the Forgotten Land.

Well, obviously opinions and all that jazz, but Wind Waker kinda just is a better game? Like, I've played nearly every of the 30 something Kirby games, but I can admit that most of them are lacking in comparison to their console contemporaries. Fun and visual/musical enjoyment is entirely subjective, but Wind Waker has more content and more diversity in it. A stronger narrative (Kirby lore is cool but that's not narrative, as in *plot*, that's background lore which is so unnecessary the majority of it is literally only explained in collectables and pause screen descriptions), A more immediately striking and recognizable artstyle, etc. This does feel a little disappointing on it's own, unfortunately. If this was, say, a bundle of RtDL, TD, PR, and also the 3DS spinoffs (which would probably still take up like half the space BoTW takes up) then I'd be happy to pay full price

Art is subjective, but if you want to use an objective term like "better" (or "stomped" in this case), you need to at least attempt some form of critical analysis. WW is longer, more diverse gameplay, more narrative, more compelling narrative, more striking artstyle, more connectivity with other games (even if the LOZ timeline is a joke), just, more stuff? And not in a way that it's bogged down or boring, either I *love* RtD, but, once again, if you wanna use objective terms, you need objective points. Sorry for the continuation of my pointless video game comment section argument that nobody was having. Just thought it was worth talking about.
As someone who had experienced the game on Dolphin, one of my only gripes was the inability for Player 1 to swap characters (outside of the Arenas). Other than that, I really have nothing bad to say about this game. I'm glad that a newer generation will get to experience this absolute gem of a game.
@@Mqstodon Even if they're not required, some sections were designed with copy abilities in mind, so they might need to change some areas to allow other characters access to the Another Dimension sections, or remove them entirely like some of the bonus rooms in Guest Star ???? when playing as certain characters.

@@cooljrgaming9729 The story, the lore expanding on the Ancients, addressing Kirby Super Star's clockwork stars, the gameplay feeling like a return to Kirby 64, Dark Matter being brought back in a flesh form, and my favorite bit, at the time, ALL amiibo works with Kirby Planet Robobot and they grant copy abilities, with most amiibos granting specific ones based on the character of the amiibo. Honestly one of the best uses for amiibo before Switch Nintendo just started treating amiibo like.... nothing. I played both TD and PR, and I think overall Planet Robobot is just better Triple Deluxe.
Tbh with you, the art style kinda grew on me. At first I didn’t like it and thought it was weird but after watching the trailer again and seeing all the new footage, I didn’t mind it. Also highly agree on that last part you said lol

I love how some people are complaining about dedede's forgotten land design, completely ignoring how the original RtDL had the worst dedede design so far
Also, I really love how they're using the black outline from some of the kirby GCN screenshots (specifically the more traditional one, since GCN was technically three games, not just one). HAL really knows how much we know
I really like the original RtDL design, I actually think it's the best one, right after the smash design.

@@user-qf4du7lc4z I think the Star Allies looks fine on its own. But for some reason, when playing as Dedede, his model just looks really off. I think it's the neck and face tbh.

But let's not forget Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and Splatoon 3, both great games, and the very much not great but still successful Pokémon games, as well as the Mario movie stuff and Ash finally leaving the Pokémon anime after becoming world champ, which interested people in the show after who knows how long

Well, obviously opinions and all that jazz, but Wind Waker kinda just
is a better game? Like, I've played nearly every of the 30 something Kirby games, but I can admit that most of them are lacking in comparison to their console contemporaries.
Fun and visual/musical enjoyment is entirely subjective, but Wind Waker has more content and more diversity in it. A stronger narrative (Kirby lore is cool but that's not narrative, as in *plot*, that's background lore which is so unnecessary the majority of it is literally only explained in collectables and pause screen descriptions), A more immediately striking and recognizable artstyle, etc.
This does feel a little disappointing on it's own, unfortunately.
If this was, say, a bundle of RtDL, TD, PR, and also the 3DS spinoffs (which would probably still take up like half the space BoTW takes up) then I'd be happy to pay full price

I'll make it clear that I love the Kirby franchise, but I can recognize valid criticisms in the things I like.
Art is subjective, but if you want to use an objective term like "better" (or "stomped" in this case), you need to at least attempt some form of critical analysis.
WW is longer, more diverse gameplay, more narrative, more compelling narrative, more striking artstyle, more connectivity with other games (even if the LOZ timeline is a joke),
just, more stuff?
And not in a way that it's bogged down or boring, either
I *love* RtD, but, once again, if you wanna use objective terms, you need objective points.

As someone who had experienced the game on Dolphin, one of my only gripes was the inability for Player 1 to swap characters (outside of the Arenas). Other than that, I really have nothing bad to say about this game. I'm glad that a newer generation will get to experience this absolute gem of a game.
Some stages require copy abilities to get through.
@@harrybest2041 im fairly sure they don't, i remember some of the ultra abilities sections being optional as well
@@Mqstodon Even if they're not required, some sections were designed with copy abilities in mind, so they might need to change some areas to allow other characters access to the Another Dimension sections, or remove them entirely like some of the bonus rooms in Guest Star ???? when playing as certain characters.
@@harrybest2041 Hal could've designed it where you can switch characters immediately like the Pokemon trainer in the super smash bros games. Or gain access to a mini menu to switch characters.

You are literally right but this is what they got and more. There is no more improvements then this. Sure dedede could've stayed the same, he does have the look of Kirby 64 but it looks better in 64. Yes and no. So I can agree to disagree. But people want a blanket when there's no more yarn to make it with. So unless they're really outgoing to start using parts of them self to make the people happy. They have to stay wanting

In the case of the remaster, like I said before, it's fine to complain.
And since they aren't complaining to other unrelated people (like the Zelda fans on a post about a Kirby game), they have the right to be mad.
The game looks good, and I love RtDL and Dedede's Dreamland 3 design, but it's gonna be a $60 pricetag for a minorly enhanced HD remaster of a relatively short Wii game.

@@TAYBR00K In Kirby's Dream Collection, they make up 3 levels (worlds). There could be more normal stages too, like in Kirby Super Star Ultra. They must be saving the best for last.

that is true, adventure wii marked a new era of the entire franchise, bringing a new format to the games. planet robobot is just triple deluxe but they replace hypernova, literally nothing special. and it's also double the price. no idea why people even like planet robobot.
@@cooljrgaming9729 The story, the lore expanding on the Ancients, addressing Kirby Super Star's clockwork stars, the gameplay feeling like a return to Kirby 64, Dark Matter being brought back in a flesh form, and my favorite bit, at the time, ALL amiibo works with Kirby Planet Robobot and they grant copy abilities, with most amiibos granting specific ones based on the character of the amiibo. Honestly one of the best uses for amiibo before Switch Nintendo just started treating amiibo like.... nothing. I played both TD and PR, and I think overall Planet Robobot is just better Triple Deluxe.
