Part 1: • The Game Rates Rap Bee...
    --------
In this clip, The Game discussed the recurring issue of rappers losing their lives in Los Angeles. The Game suggests that L.A.’s allure, with its sunny weather and Hollywood lifestyle, is what draws many artists to the city but it can be a "trap." He stresses the importance of ‘locking in’ and connecting with the right people for guidance, arguing that not doing so can lead to fatal outcomes. He likens this process to his experiences navigating other cities, like New York, where he ensures he is never "aimlessly" wandering, potentially allowing him or his supporters to deal with dangerous circumstances. He gently criticizes artists who underestimate L.A.’s potential dangers based on superficial aspects like beach environment and palm trees. The Game emphasizes the need for individuals to respect L.A. on a street level and the importance of maintaining connections to help navigate the town and avoid tragic outcomes.

Game is dead on I was born and raised in these L.A. streets and I have to be cautious when I move around. L.A. has so many pockets that you need to understand where you are at all times. one thing about L.A. you cannot just pull up in a neighborhood going to a store a burger stand barbershop or nothing and niggas don't know you. They will be on yo bumper. Its dangerous and pulling up in a hood and nobody knows you will make mofo's crash out. You have to be extra crispy careful in these L.A. streets factz. You can be in one hood go 3 blocks over and you just went from a crip hood to a blood hood in L.A. its that volatile.

1:46 this is actually fkn crazy. "People need to star respecting.." OR heres a crazy idea. People neee to stop killing and doing crime. Im so fkn fed up with certain people keepin up the "dont snitch" narrative or crime culture, but then at the same time cry about how their community is behind.
Everybody else, all the other nations and cultures were like "okay these are the rules were gonna play by them if we want society to run and work well" but someones want priviledges like "we want the same things like everybody else, BUT we are not gonna speak to law enforcement whenever theres a real problem"
This is why you dont listen to these false prophets/idols. And the crazy thing is GAME DONT LIVE IN IT HIMSELF ANYMORE hasnt lived there in 20 years. Like promotes violence and crime then goes back to his gated community.

Basically rappers from NY because they not use to gangsta shit. It's simple. Do you see rappers from Memphis,Detroit,NO,Baton Rouge getting knocked off? No. Bc they from hard cities, they know how to move and maneuver. That simple. King Von got popped over a fight HE started. It wasn't from not knowing how to move. If he didn't start that fight he'd be alive. Bottom line, when you from a dangerous place you know how to survive and those survival instincts carry over. Memphis is violent. A rapper from there more likely to get killed there than anywhere else. If he make it out of there he good for the most part. And most importantly, R.I.P to the ones who lost they lives. It's '24. Catch a bag, not a body.

    • @dnyce8224
      @dnyce8224 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Absolutely not.
For example, Biggie was from a wild area. The city was super wild in his days, and you can check the stats yourself. But he had a hitman on him. Hard to shake that.
PNP was from a city wilder than the ones you named.
If you’re out in about anywhere, you’re slipping. And LA would rock you to sleep cause a lot of it resembles suburbs. Today, NY looks sweet because there’s nobody outside. But people are looking out the windows, so you still gotta be careful.
To me, violence is played out and barbaric. You’re better off working/ hustling and enjoying your family.
Lastly, a lot of rappers have been shot, robbed, or killed in NY. A couple years ago, a rapper from LA/Chicago got caught slipping unfortunately.
NY might be the top of the list or at least top 3.

@@dnyce8224 Man to man I can respect alot of what you saying. But you overrated NY. It's one of the safest cities in the country. On a very short list and has been for decades. Philly isn't soft at all but it's not more dangerous than Detroit or Memphis. NO/ Baton Rouge. I agree the killing is played out and pointless, from the outside looking in. If you in it, you probably feel different. But notice you can't name the rapper killed on Ny from OT? As big a city as it is that everybody frequent. As far as Biggie, he my favorite rapper and NY never got get back. Suge made it real easy and was kicking it there when he got out of jail. For days and I think one of his homeboys. He damn nearly was taunting NY. He didn't get a scratch on him. I couldn't imagine him flexing like that anywhere else. We can agree to disagree but this how men should be able to talk.

@@millardthomas9059 …..NYC is always going to be a safe city. The rent is a few bands, millions of people live there, the police is a military, and it has some of the richest people in the country. Decades ago, NY was putting up crazy numbers from in town( and out of town), but it was still considered somewhat safe based on ratios.
I think you’re right about Philly, but you’re wrong about Suge. Suge had some NY people around him from death row East for example . Also, that’s like saying 69 didn’t get touched in LA or Chicago.
And you’ll never know about get back for Big. Honestly, that’s not something I would’ve took penitentiary chances over because I wasn’t getting money with them.
I can’t name that rapper because I don’t really listen to drill rap. I just hear that those young men be getting killed in Brooklyn and the Bronx mostly. Like I heard a couple of Memphis rappers were killed in DC not too long away.
Don’t sleep on NY. For example, just because the petty robberies stopped, it doesn’t mean that people with money are not still getting tied up. But it’s mostly awhite collar hustles nowadays, and that doesn’t call for violence.
There are so many NY rappers who live in LA, so they definitely know how to move out there. Everywhere I’ve been I ran into NY people moving around correctly: DC, B’more, Philly, Atlanta, LA, San Bernardino, Nashville, Florida, NC, etc.
Pop Smoke fought, but they caught him slipping. Big should’ve ran that light. And Pac should’ve just slowed down a bit. RIP to all them brothers.
Yeah, Good Brother, it’s nice chopping it up on man time. Respect to you too.

@@dnyce8224 Well I look at Chicago which is also large, populated and expensive and gun laws there will stop nothing. Absolutely nothing. Gangstas really don't care about the law, laws or consequences. If you do, that makes you a law abing citizen. I have a good friend from Chicago (Englewood ) and he rarely ever visits there because of the danger. I have a friend from Inglewood in Cali and he moves a certain way when he's there bc of the gangs. The ppl I know from NY even say it's safe and I know alot of ppl from there from things I did back in the day. I was referring to Suge when he got out of jail in 02 when it was widely known he had a hand in Biggies death . You talking about 96 and Death Row East when Pac and Biggie were alive. But in fairness 69 get some points for going to Oblock . When you bottom line it, he went to the city and made it out without a scratch. Camron and Mase a few weeks ago talked about how OT can get got in Cali. Literally all over the MF state. But to be honest with you, I don't care man. I been around so many killers and gangstas it don't move or impress me. Anybody can kill. I'm from Cleveland , family in Chicago, Tennessee and Detroit and basically my second home in Detroit. Seen it all. I don't really watch Trap Lore Ross. I'm a very successful business and property owner. I watch and learn things on YT that engage my entrepreneurial spirit. Id rather watch a video about a guy becoming a millionaire instead of one about how many bodies this person has. So me saying NY is not hard isn't really a insult tbh. Literally every time I see a headline about someone getting killed here I hold my breath wondering if it's one of my ppl. That's not enjoyable at all.

@@millardthomas9059 ….I’m from a neighborhood that used to put up a 100 murders. Now, it’s more like 10. So, I definitely know the difference between the two worlds.
Cleveland, Detroit, and Chicago are crazy. However, LA is probably only slightly wilder than NY if that. So, if people still respect places like LA and Seattle, NY definitely should get that same respect. In 2024, you can still get your issue handled in these 3 places.
Unfortunately, PNB Rock was in the LA streets rocking his Jewelry. That LA/Chicago rapper was unfortunately in the Bronx with his jewelry and a money phone.
So, to wrap this up. Is NY a city where most can travel from A to B peacefully nowadays? Yes, I agree with you on that one. But there are still tricks and traditions throughout the boroughs and sections where a person could get caught slipping before they see it coming.
