Idk how to explain it, but that's it 🤷🏻♀️ I learned a lot of English songs in childhood when I didn't know it at all (English is not my native). Also, I once learned (and still kinda remember it) the chorus of a Chinese song I loved very much though I didn't know Chinese. So I think if you really try hsrd it's 100% possible. Or just listening to a song a lot will help.

Eternal love is just as good, I watched it first and thought there would be nothing better than Ye Hua, but hello Xu Feng lol. I think Ashes of love is overall better because Jinmi does a lot of personal growth as a caracther. It starts all goofy comedy style and it evolves into such a heartbreaking drama. The wedding chapter is the absolute best I've seen, incredibly well acted que executed!

Red Threads represent fate and marriage line between 2 people. once tied, cannot be broken. “some of my lives spent in the clouds, some of are in the forests” both jimmi and xufeng’s incarnations in heaven and on earth.

I love how ALL the songs of the OST gel so well with the show and narrative. They really used the music to story tell and express the emotions (that are repressed by all the main characters). It’s very rare for a Chinese drama to use the OST so well and not just randomly.

This song is beautiful. Really depicts Jin Mi's journey with Xue Feng and Run Yu. ❤️ I wish I was fluent in Mandarin because I'm sure the show and this song will hit differently. I'm obsessed with Ashes of Love and I don't think any other Chinese drama can beat the beauty of this story. JinMi and Xu Fengs love for one another was so pure, especially Xu Feng. He was so committed, pure, loyal, and sweet. His character got me dreaming of leaving my husband for God of Fire. Lololol

Whoever has the range to sing this song props to them...... Cause like they are like going from a3 to b5 which is a fancy way of saying they have a range of a vocal god. Edit: I can finally sing this song mostly comfortably. I still get a tad bit breathy on the low notes. But you guys are right a good warm up does wonders.

And as for the low notes, I'm focusing on my chest voice, have been training alot since it's my weak spot. I just guess practising to widen the vocal range pays off. I'm gonna sing this song in one week at the Chinese New Year party, still worried about my Chinese though ^^

That is what I observe on Run Yu. He needs love because in what I learn in my class in psychology, when a child doesn't felt love, he will grew callous........ Same also with people who grew up in a type of environment where there's a lot of violence and oppression......... I agree to an extent. It's sad that he hadn't felt love. However... His brother did in fact love him and though his father didn't show it due to his wife he still cared for his eldest son. Then there's his servant who deeply loves him but he ignores her feelings to chase jinmi who only loves his brother. He has love around him he just doesn't care to see it. he was blinded by rage and his obsession with jinmi. If he loved her he would've let her be with his brother... He wouldn't keep her prisoner. He wouldn't demand love from her when he knows she loves someone else. He's so obsessed that he ignores those who do love him. Kinda sad. But in a way he wrote his own tragedy.

A teardrop, that’s me describes the ending when xufeng realizes that jinmi was in his eyes the entire time. You are me, we are inseparable literally means they are the same person.

I think the reason why hee wants to be the emperor is to stop the empress for doing anything bad and to stop her for killing many people, instead of he takes revenge for her biological mother. He is not bad, he's just so tragic, he is doomed, i hope in the end he finds someone that he can love and someone who love him sincerely. He is my fav character so far in this drama. I personally think this drama become interesting to watch because of runyu characteristics that sometimes confusing the viewers.

I love how ALL the songs of the OST gel so well with the show and narrative. They really used the music to story tell and express the emotions (that are repressed by all the main characters). It’s very rare for a Chinese drama to use the OST so well and not just randomly.

This song is beautiful. Really depicts Jin Mi's journey with Xue Feng and Run Yu. ❤️ I wish I was fluent in Mandarin because I'm sure the show and this song will hit differently. I'm obsessed with Ashes of Love and I don't think any other Chinese drama can beat the beauty of this story. JinMi and Xu Fengs love for one another was so pure, especially Xu Feng. He was so committed, pure, loyal, and sweet. His character got me dreaming of leaving my husband for God of Fire. Lololol

Edit: I can finally sing this song mostly comfortably. I still get a tad bit breathy on the low notes. But you guys are right a good warm up does wonders.

@@joyce1343 I'm doing it with no problem, after a good warm-up I go up till f/fis6. I guess it depends on the day and how you're feeling too. And as for the low notes, I'm focusing on my chest voice, have been training alot since it's my weak spot. I just guess practising to widen the vocal range pays off. I'm gonna sing this song in one week at the Chinese New Year party, still worried about my Chinese though ^^

It's only me crying over this song just because of Runyu suffering and deserves better. The only thinks he needs is love. And people didn't get it.
That is what I observe on Run Yu. He needs love because in what I learn in my class in psychology, when a child doesn't felt love, he will grew callous........ Same also with people who grew up in a type of environment where there's a lot of violence and oppression......... How I wish that the actor who portrayed Run Yu will never absorbed Run Yu in his present personality............
I agree to an extent. It's sad that he hadn't felt love. However... His brother did in fact love him and though his father didn't show it due to his wife he still cared for his eldest son. Then there's his servant who deeply loves him but he ignores her feelings to chase jinmi who only loves his brother. He has love around him he just doesn't care to see it. he was blinded by rage and his obsession with jinmi. If he loved her he would've let her be with his brother... He wouldn't keep her prisoner. He wouldn't demand love from her when he knows she loves someone else. He's so obsessed that he ignores those who do love him. Kinda sad. But in a way he wrote his own tragedy.

I think the reason why hee wants to be the emperor is to stop the empress for doing anything bad and to stop her for killing many people, instead of he takes revenge for her biological mother. He is not bad, he's just so tragic, he is doomed, i hope in the end he finds someone that he can love and someone who love him sincerely. He is my fav character so far in this drama. I personally think this drama become interesting to watch because of runyu characteristics that sometimes confusing the viewers.
