This has to be one of the best renditions of this quintet I have heard. I love this work and as a 'cellist I love Boccherini. I often play his many sonatas and concerti.
@@johninman7545 I am performing a movement from one of his sonata's on Thursday for my Toastmasters Club. We created groups back then and still play together today. Thank you
Luigi Boccherini wasn't Spanish at all. He was only Italian, from Lucca (Tuscany, to be precise). He went to study in Rome, Vienna and also Madrid, but his nationality was Italian alone.

... both the composition and the performance are absolutely remarkable ...
The last movement in this piece is pretty wild. But I like what Boccherini did when he wrote this.
Beautiful piece of music by Italian Spanish composer LUIGI BOCCHERINI. He wrote several for this nice combination of string quartet plus guitar.

How nuce this quintet starts with a pastoral
Was Boccherini left handed?
No why?
@@filipigrec9713 Probably because the cellist on the picture is left handed
@@XPlayerNo01 no he is not
@@filipigrec9713 on the last one
@@XPlayerNo01 oh yes...
I think its a mistake 😂

It's a shame this instrument combination isn't more common
Adds are a disgrace and a gratuitous invasion of good taste!
Outrageous! A stupid Liberty Mutual commercial interrupting the first and second movements of this quintet. I clicked off...
