The first few minutes of the video beautifully illustrated why some people are more naturally capable of capturing the attention of others, stimulating their thoughts, and motivating them to act. For some reason when the first lady was speaking, I just couldn’t wait for her to finish. It wasn’t her looks but rather, her voice, demeanour, mannerisms, and inflections. It wasn’t what she said, it was how she said it. I was subconsciously rejecting her message. On the other hand when Susan came on, I just found her more soothing. I subconsciously pay more attention to those people, am naturally more receptive to their argument, more likely to agree with their position, and act on their words. I think it’s another way the differences between introverts and extroverts is manifested… one of those “like seek like” or “opposites attract” kind of relationships which could have immense and far reaching impact if people understood and harnessed the power of its effects.
Thank you Anita as it says for letting me us, that especially after trauma, this video let's me know it ok to get quiet and go through the healing process. Bob
I can't believe in 1966 or so when I was tiny and my parents couldn't take me places because I was all over the place. 9 years later I discovered grass and called my mom "man" . And being an introvert kind of put a stamp on it by Bob Dylan's early lyrics and it's almost like a training manual. On "Visions of Johanna" slow version he says "ain't it just like the night, when they play tricks, while your trying to be so quiet" I guess Dylan is my Woody Guthrie. I was told I'm deep being quiet , when I'm thinking shallow. That's the fun.
Narcissisim is on the rise so stay in comfort zones. Even extroverted one , not to isolate. Keep an eye out for toxic people. I'm introverted until I'm behind the Mic in the studio that's solitary.
Her work is so valuable and will help many people to accept themselves more fully.
I have this book!!!!!!!!💓 YES to all of my introverts.
Thank you, Susan, this video might have saved my life; I am not kidding.
Susan Cain’s amazing.

I contacted the author of a book I read that had an impact on my life and she did write me back and kept communicating with me.
Even after seeing this video when I'm in a group I tend to go along with them even if they're wrong. I don't realize it until afterwards
Thank you. You are like a long lost sister. Angel at best Bob.
You're not only an introvert Susan, you're an empath! Very obvious to me!
38:43... I need this segment.

I'd love captions for this video!
Thanks. I’m hoping you will respond to my comment. I would like to interview Susan Cain. I have her book.
I wouldn't get a restraining order on her.
