  • Coleman CT200U EX minibike/header pipe and re-jet.
Installed a header pipe on the Coleman CT200U-EX minibike. Also re-jetted the carburetor to enhance the effects of installing the header pipe. Did some top speed runs to see if it gained any performance after the modifications?

I’ve got the same bike about a month ago. What’s crazy is I’m doin a top speed of 39 at the moment. All I’ve done is remove the throttle limiting screw and I moved the black governor spring to the 2nd to last hole on the governor arm coming out of the motor. I weigh 215 and it’s cruisin. Of course I don’t keep it pegged longer than 5 or 6 seconds. Smooth Runnin machine right now. Using the best speed app in the App Store and I tried it in my car and it’s accurate. Just crazy from those 2 mods alone.

Make sure you have the carb bolted to the manifold correctly? If you have the carb off the bike you can look down the manifold to make sure its in alignment . If the o ring is leaking between the carb and manifold, it wont run right. That's one of the most common reason they don't run right when first installed. leaks
