Big Mig...I always thought his rise and dominance was fishy 🐟. That being said it was very entertaining watching these guys....it is now as well. Appreciate your work sir.
Man, i kinda like your videos and style, but you're killing my heroes. I'm from Barcelona and i remember all of this, i was a teen back then and watched a lot of sports, especially after '92. Looking back... yeahh, very suspicios. At least i can think they were the best of the doped... it seems everybody at top level have been doing it for years with your videos, i don't know anymore :-)
If sports people are at the top, esp in racing of any kind, they are doped. Just enjoy it for the spectacle. We can't expect cyclists to do what they can, without assistance.
@@TheRongy I personally couldn't care whether they get caught or not, there is a witch hunt either way. Remember Justin Gatlin, popped twice, got slaughtered off the UK crowd. Linford Christie walks on and everyone goes crazy. Err...the same Linford Christie who got popped twice. The same Christie that his athletes who he coaches have also been popped. Fairy stories aren't for adults. I got told I was an idiot because I never believed in the Armstrong story, yeah it made as much sense to me as men putting synthol in their muscles and calling it natty LOL
Great episode, packed with detail - good editing and delivery too. I remember reading about this in the cycling mags but Vuelta TV footage was more-than-niche in the UK back then. Loved all those shots of hairnet helmets .... haha
I feel like cycling was better back in the day, not just because of the lack of doping, but also because Europe was more European. Globalization has Americanized Europe. Europe was chic and sexy back then. I know it was a romanticized view of Europe, but watching cycling was a glimpse into the culture and lifestyle but today, it's just not the same. Today, I feel like I'm watching just another team sport. I guess I've just got jaded. Thanks, Lance Armstrong!!
Hi im Dane. Im very proud to be a Dane. And Jonas is the best climber in the world 💪 Im not angry at all. I love Cycling Stories, even though a lot of the content in these videoes is pure nonsense and speculation,
@@henriksrensen3220 It's not nonsense, it's all fact. And you seriously think that Jonas is clean? He could have won that last TT but was ordered to slow down because the idea of a 60kg mountain specialist winning a 40km TT ahead of the TT specialists would have raised a lot of questions, not that questions around the JV squad aren't plentiful anyway because of the ludicrous rides by WvA in this year's tour.

We know these guys all doped. 10 kg bikes, smaller number of gears poor diets ( mostly doping more than food). Now we have full aero bikes, integrated cables, and somehow some 18-22 year olds are now the big names in the teams... NOTHING FISHY AT ALL!!
How about a bit on the alleged mechanical doping of Cancellara at the 2010 Ronde van Vlaanderen and Paris-Roubaix? Great video as always, thanks for posting!💪🏻🚴♂️

Waooo that's refreshing, all your vidz are a necessary supplement after watching the greatests races on TV with the commentaters, I feel in sync with what I believe from the start when I first felt in love watching TDF: all junkies but like block busters movies, can't look away their bizzness! I race very low local level, get smashed giving my best, by way older guys sometimes, no dope (more like drunk sometimes!) don't care... ;) Looser... Unlike those Pros hein !
I get the sense these videos involving Indurain seem to give him a free pass and sense of his being the ''genuine article''. As here, Mauri is the villain who humiliates the great champion, possible only thru his being the guinea pig.

I was a little scared for Indurain! 🤣

Yes, all were doped. Lejarreta's resurrection in once was insane

Sure, you’re right, but make it official then and stop the non-sensical doping witch hunt?!

"Europe was sheik?" That's basically the opposite of what you're trying to say: "chic".

lots of accusations, but no evidence
there's a lot of that on this channel :-/ Which is sad, because it is otherwise a good channel.
