LOL your money wasn't good enough when it came to wiping the dirt i would have just grabbed the cloth and did it myself great video for us DIY guys thanks for sharing !!
I just got the 2022 version. I know how to do the oils changes and flush myself but I am still having the dealership do mine at least the first year. I don’t want any excuses to void my warranty. After that I’m doing it myself. Great info though.
If you run your motor until the salt away turns clear, you may burn up your carbon ring/seal... read the manual, it explains that there's a maximum run time while the hull isn't in the water.
@@ktmdays No idf issue yet (Knock on wood) some dealers could be juicing customers over the 10 hours service... the manual does not mention anything about the 10 hours but 50 on the first service then every 100 hours afterward!
Dude, you are a mechanics worst nightmare, hovering over him and making bad jokes. LOL He's only tolerating you because he just made $500/hr off of you. 5X what an airplane mechanic makes. Hell, 170% more than a 767 pilot makes per hour (I am one).
He knew I was gonna video before we started.he laughed and said he was camera shy and didn't know what to say.next video he was way relaxed and had fun
Did my first oil change on my 2021 gti se 170. Kit with oil and oil filter $68. Oil extractor that hooks up to battery from Amazon $22. Salt Away $30. You can do all this so much cheaper. You should also flush your ski when doing fresh water too. Hopefully you are spraying down your motor area and spraying inside with WD 40 to protect it. You need to air that jet ski out after using. Take off the seats. Always open drain plugs once you get off water. I keep my ski in the garage and take seats off and put a fan on motor to dry out the inside. Hey if a girl can do it you can. Please when turning your ski on to heat up oil hook up hose. Read your owners manual and there are plenty of people who have videos.
The moment the seat cushion was placed on the floor I woulda been out of there.

You should do the "satwater flush" after each trip in saltwater.
