Anyways, I haven't kept up with youtube lately, but good to see you guys are still going strong. My 352 is in Isla Mujeres and I'm in Sweden for now. Wish you the best going forward and keep up the good work.

Hey there! Yes we are still alive-barely though as we are suffering in the heat :) Wish we were in Sweden too, perhaps even by boat enjoying some cooler weather ;) But autumn is coming and all will be good!

I hope you don’t give up sailing life, it’s been really hot everywhere in the Mediterranean, definitely to hot to be drifting I had to leave my boat in Preveza and fly back to London to get away from the heat
So I really understand your frustrations on board
    Thank you for your videos
    Always enjoy them
    Wishing cooler days⛵️

Luckily the worst heat is over and since we are not planning on another summer that south we should be good. Sad to hear you had the same trouble and had to abandon plans, it really takes all the fun away, no motivation to do anything except swim and dive :)
Thanks for following our adventure, hope to meet some day !

That's unfortunate, but unfortunately it will be getting even worse 😕

I have always loved eating anything out of the water, and I figure that if I am going to continue to consume fish, or crab, or shellfish, I might as well do it myself. It’s not for everybody though; killing fish. I do thank our creator when I do and don’t waste anything. I also just like to catch fish and release them by filing the barbs of the hooks off.The Mediterranean I hear is heavily overfished. But it’s the same here in Oregon as well for salmon.
Went back to Greece in 2015 after 40 or so years. It was so unbearabley hot that year. You just couldn’t do anything in the middle of the day. And it seems like it’s getting worse, along with the fires. But the people, landscape, architecture, food and history are wonderful. And that sea. That beautiful blue sea.
    Enjoying your videos!

Hey Alexander, thanks for your comment!
Totally agree, we do want to continue enjoying seafood, perhaps less and definitely from sustainable sources. Catching it yourself is perhaps the most sustainable way, especially for us, as we nearly never catch anything. The thing is when you do it yourself you also feel it, and can actually decide if you actually going to kill or release it! We really hope that humanity wilm find ways to stop overfishing!
Greece is such a special Country, it has it all really, despite being rather small, unfortunately it's getting quite clear that climate change will really have a severely negative impact on this beautiful country! Let's hope that the right actions will be taken before it's lost!

And the tuna always swim in pairs they are paired for life I was told and I also do not fish anymore as for that reason

That would make it even more sad :( Good on you for stopping to fish! We just passed through a marine park in France and the amounts of fish, groupers in 10-15m of depth, so amazing to snorkel and freedive. Been told that that's what it was like in Greece some many many years ago ... Hopefully we will get there again ;)
