    Dude THANK YOU, I've just seen your Psyker compendium the 'Pygex's Psyker Atheneum' and it's a God send, I'm a psyker main and this is just what I was looking so many of the mechanics of this game are obscure and poorly outlined by default. Also can I say thank you for making a cool and calm video my new go to TH-camr for Psyker content I think keep up the great work dude :)

    Amazing video, you made every single complicated thing feel simple, straight experiments with quick and easy to see results, making the damage ticks go up together was perfect to see the crit numbers being the same. Just one request, to be able to hear you I had to put youtube on max volume and pc on max volume while waearing iem headphones, for future videos it would be nice if your voice was higher, you dont need to speak higher, just change the balance between the Mic in audio and the game audio. Thank you for the tutorial!!

      I'll be sure to test and correct the sound levels properly next time. It was quite disheartening when I played it back and realized my mistake.

    Corrections:
    I shouldn't have described Mettle's behavior around channels so confidently as a bug at 4:20, it is very possibly working as intended.
    Let me know if I got anything factually wrong and I'll add it to this comment.

    Very based video :) you should make more long form stuff like this, although psykanium vs in game testing IS different, almost everything you discussed is accurate ig as far as I know and I learnt like a good 8 things

      @@Torinatorr Thanks, I'm considering doing a couple more talking videos in an attempt to share everything I know about Purgatus in one place.
      Do you know if the solo mod perfectly replicates all in-game mechanics? If so I'll use that to get the best of both worlds in future videos.

      @MeowBeep_ It doesn't unfortunately because it doesn't have real server MS. It's best to do live duo games for meaningful testing, there are a few maps you can force NPC death and it's fairly effective.

    This might be the most useful psyker video I've ever watched. The funny thing is that I think I had to watch all the other videos in order to be ready for this next step.

    I finally found a low warp resistance deimos and the utility is insane being able to ride high peril and the one shot capabilities with unstable power are actually insane. I get a ton of one shots even at like 40-50 peril but anything higher and you just delete things. Playing with your peril with the deimos is alot of fun and being able to get to 86 with 3 charges is very useful. Its much better than the deimos I had before. My deimos has 19% peril and its working wonders.

    I was playing with penetrating flame in a civi dont tell me its not good😂😭. Also is playing with wildfire instead of 6 warp charges worth it? Cuz ive heard about the ownership thing and i have played with a few purgatus psykers and i thought about that the entire game lol

    • @MeowBeep_
      @MeowBeep_  28 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      Pen Flame isn't "not good, in a vacuum". It is just significantly worse than an easily accessible and executable alternative, making it "not good, in context". If you don't like getting up close and personal with a pack of crushers then you probably will find Pen Flame more useful. Another limit/downside of Pen Flame that I didn't mention in this video is that: If you are quickly sweeping to apply max stacks in a wide arc, then hardly any stacks of brittleness get applied.
      With Nexus you can fairly reliably apply the full 15-16 staff stacks with a single full secondary to the whole pack as they approach, after which point continuing to using Purgatus is fairly low value. Deimos' 125% rending, 20% power, and spiky melee damage is significantly better than Purgatus' 20% brittleness, 40% power, and slow direct damage. So switch to melee, use special to max peril, then use shriek to interrupt the first crusher overhead (and overstack everything) and instantly follow that by triggering the charged special into a weakspot to safely (because everything is staggered) get four instant(ish) uncanny stacks. After that it is just a matter of using the force push and the H2 followup to maintain uncanny while the overstacks with 125% rending rip through their health Each melee killing blow also reliably triggers PC to push the overstacks on the rest up even higher. If you look closely at that 60 sec clip I recently posted, this is more or less exactly what I do to finish off the 10ish Crushers at the end. For CIVI in particular, you can swap in the Carapace damage perk (in place of Maniac damage) on the Deimos to make this strategy even stronger.
      Wildfire is probably at the top of the list of talent points I want to substitute out when possible. It is only really necessary when playing next to either; a voidstrike/voidblast with Blazing Spirit, any staff with Shriek, or just anyone using wildfire for some reason. When I do drop Wildfire I'll most often add in one of: Essence Harvest if I want more toughness regen, for when I'm lacking teammate's with yellow toughness. Kinetic Resonance if I want fast BBs, for when my team lacks good long range tools. Prescience (which costs an extra point to path through) if I want max crit%, for when I expect to frequently front line gunners and so need EE to be most reliable, and/or when I have many/most teammate's running crit builds.
      A second Purgatus is by far my least desired teammate. If either of you are good then the other is mostly dead weight. If I see a Purgatus sibling, and I have time in the pregame lobby, I will swap over to my GFS for fun (WIP) build [ darktide.gameslantern.com/builds/9d9da1cb-d42f-4bba-878e-541a8bbe82f9/special-maxing-gfs-meleeker-w-sb-synergy ].
      Warp Battery is (was?) also on the list of talent points I might substitute out for some reason. It is very much a snowball talent that only gets reliable value when enemy density is high enough. If the enemy density is sparse, or your teammates are just particularly efficient murderers, you often won't get back above four warp charges quickly enough between Shrieking on cooldown, or you just won't need to shriek on cooldown, to get its full value. When the density is sufficiently thick though you often get back the full six warp charges within a few seconds after each shriek, and then WB really shines. Unsurprisingly, I'm finding I always want it in Havoc.

    my infernostaff does penetrate bulwark shields in real games and real games are different from psykhanium btw in case you didn't know. ANything you are trying to prove with the help of psykhanium is fooling yourself.

    • @kk5612
      @kk5612 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      Maybe you mean the bulwark still gains the soul blaze dots? Because inferno flames definitely don't penetrate bulwark shields. That how you get the tech for shooting slightly over or beside the shield to spread the dots (and directly damage the bulwark sometimes).
      In the case you are just trying to defend Tanner, I find it pretty funny for you to dismiss the psykhanium lol.

    • @infrared6973
      @infrared6973 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You just aim for the head with bulwarks infront of you and they will die. Sometimes they dont even do the attack animation depending on how much you charge the staff.
