Couple of additional tips: the pull a long tail often is easier/works better if you pull the bobbin thread rather than the needle thread. Easiest/least messy way to undo serger stitching is the pull the left needle thread out, then the right (which will come out super easy once the left is gone). Then the Loopers just come off in long, continuous threads. No tiny thread shavings to clean up.
I saw another video of the way you mentioned about a year ago. But some times it works and some times is does not. Reason is because I am not sure if I begin on the front or back to start loosening the thread before going zip and it's out just like that. This girl obviously does not know this "easy" way. I will keep looking...
As a new sewer, I had no idea that there were different ways to remove stitches & what a great alternative tool. Thank you for such a short but informative vid!
@@InsidetheHem Somehow I don’t see the exact one that you showed, on Kai website....? They have other ones but not the serrated one like you showed on the video. It’s ok np. Thanks.

Which is the "left needle thread"? This is the method my Grammy taught me but I can't remember! Help please!

And how to heal the stitches marks after this
Ever since your trick ir treat series last year I’ve been using that seam ripping trick to easily remove my seams. Never knew what that was for. ❤️
I love my Kai scissors and rotary cutters! Guess this means I have no choice but try out their seam remover :-)
Where did you buy that seam ripper blade from? Thanks for the video, but please let me know.
They are from Kai. Link in description box!
@@InsidetheHem ok thanks.😊

It works! And more plastic guards than eye brow razors.
That's magic 🤩
you can buy the Kai seam remover from etsy but the cost to the uk are £11.54 p/p +£5 =£16.54 .If anyone finds it cheaper I'd love to know

And their website doesn’t ship internationally?
I wish they were available in Sweden too! But if someone in UK stock them I will purchase from there!
